The Sirah of the Prophet (pbuh): A Contemporary and Original Analysis

An excellent and thorough biography of the noble Prophet (PBUH)'s life and times. Not only does Sheikh Yasir Qadhi delve into both the major and minor events in the Prophet's life, but he also extracts important lessons that we can learn and apply to our lives from these incidents. This book helped me to not just learn more about the Prophet but also about his companions and his family. Initially, I wondered how his seerah, which has over 150 parts on YouTube, would be able to fit in one book, but I was very impressed by how condensed yet detailed it was; the excellent writing and flow of the seerah made this a very difficult book to put down. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to learn more about the Prophet's life, whether a beginner or someone with more advanced knowledge.

Amazing book

I finished reading the book and I literally couldn't put it down! I remember once thinking it would be great if the Seerah series was in book form (as i prefer books) so when I found out it got published i was so excited and it truly didnt disappoint. I really liked the numerous references as well as the lessons that are very relevant to us in the West (e.g. how Prophet lived as minority, or navigating certain issues that have parallels to us now). It was a book that constantly forced you to engage and think about your own life which was really beautiful. This meant that this Seerah book was more than a Seerah book and really felt like the Prophet was here and relevant to us. It really reconnects the heart to the Prophet (SAW) I also feel like the footnotes were done very well and succinctly in explaining issues such as age of Ayesha, slavery and plagues (and its link to Covid). The design of the book, out and in was really nice and made it comfortable on the eye, and chapters were laid very well. I ask that Allah accepts it from everyone involved and makes it a witness for you, due the many lives it will undoubtedly change and inspire with the permission of Allah. Ameen

Amazing book

I haven’t finished the book as of yet but so far it’s been great. It’s well written and the language is simple enough for everyone to understand and grasp the meanings. Listening to Yasir Qadi is always both entertaining and inspiring so I knew this seerah would not disappoint. Highly recommend

Reading The Sirah of the Prophet by Dr. Yasir Qadhi was truly enlightening. His detailed yet accessible approach to the life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) gave me a deeper understanding of his mission and character. It’s both informative and spiritually uplifting—a book I highly recommend to anyone wanting to connect more deeply with the Prophet’s (pbuh) legacy.

Very good

Wonderful, especially when you see the u tube videos. Some more maps would improve much more the understandings of the sirah. And the quality of the paper for the hard cover book (52 euro) it's a little scarcely. As a conclusion i definitely encourage the youngsters especially, to read it. It's easy for the average english reader.
