Taste better and are easy to use
I am so glad I found these black cookie crumbs on Amazon. I use to buy the famous wafers for my cheesecake crust until they discontinued them. Bakerdale black cookies crumbs are so much easier than grinding up famous wafers. No food processor or blender to wash. My husband and I both agree that they taste better than the famous wafer ones.

Perfect for a pie crust
This product worked superbly for a pie crust. Nabisco used to have a plain chocolate wafer which was ideal for crushing and making a pie crust. They discontinued that product. I was so happy to find the Bakerdale Black Cookie Chocolate Dirt for my Grasshopper pie. It worked like a charm!

Soft pie crust, not crisp.
I bought these hoping they would be a suitable replacement for the Nabisco Chocolate Wafers I previously crushed up for pie making. I found these to be disappointing in the way they baked up into a crust which was more like a cake because it was soft and not crisp. The flavor however was good.

Use these for a lot of things. Toppings, baking etc. I have found this brand to be the one I like the best. My last bag is almost finished so almost time to order more.
