First, I just want to say this company, Double Wood, has earned both my respect and loyalty. Their products are quality. I'm not being paid squat to write this review. I am also battling severe Major Depressive Disorder with anhedonia. I've not been in a friendly mood, lately. So, if I took time to sing praises for a company, you can be sure it's because they have solidly earned it. I have ordered many supplements from this company, some which were effective and some which were a miss, not because they didn't work but because they weren't the right one for my condition. All of them came on time, bottles and capsules intact and not expired. ** No supplement is a substitute for professional treatment. That's why they're called "supplements". As long as you have cleared it with your doctor to rule out any possible interactions, they make a useful addition to a treatment. The med I'm on doesn't interact with anything. ** Onto the Shilajit: Shilajit isn't a miracle supplement. I didn't expect it be. However, it did exceed my expectations. I got my libido back. I can kinda feel emotions and cry but I'm not 100%. Still numb and exhausted most of the time but, with rest and healthier eating, this supplement helps, at least, a small amount. My doctor has me on another off-label medicine. It's doing what it can but it's not enough on its own. This is common. I am definitely going to order more of this supplement as it helps with no unpleasant side effects.

I am now on bottle number 2. I've read a lot, and wanted to be patient and give the product the benefit of working. The first two to three weeks, I really didn't notice any differences. However, after around week 4, I was experiencing positive results. In the ned room, I was very pleased with my performance increases. Let me say that again, very pleased. Stronger and longer erections make any man feel better. I've tried the prescription products, and never really enjoyed them. Now I am able to perform whenever...... Purchased to see how it affects me nutrition wise. Capsule easy to swallow no flavor. For effect don't notice much difference. Happy with purchase no bad side effects or jitters from product.

I wonder about the product’s authenticity because it is so much lighter in color than my usual brand I’ve used for years that I can no longer find. Can anyone please explain why this might be?

True shilajit should be dark in color due to its fulvic content. This Doublewood product was much darker last year than this year, making me suspect it has recently been diluted with some other powder. See for yourself

A quality product that gives results.

I've been researching shilajit for a while now. This is the one I went with, and have been taking for a month now - results are not instant, but noticeable after roughly 2 weeks. On the official product page, they have third party official lab results, which you don't see on many products - so a big positive. Every study I've read shows it should: Have an earthy smell: check. Be dark brown in colour: check. Have 15-20% fulvic acid: 20% check. Have a dosage of at least 250-500mg: 1000mg check. Based on the research, it's the real deal. Now personally, I've definitely noticed a strength increase with this product, and a slight improvement in muscle recovery time. Can't say too much about supposed energy improvements as I take other supplements as well, but as I started adding this on top of everything else, I can say strength increase is noticeable and can be attributed to this product.

I was skeptical about it at first but after a few days i started feeling the energy boost and pushed myself more without feeling tired. And it's also improved my productivity when it comes to down there, if you know what i mean.
