My Hermes tortoise didnt even nibble at this so its 3 stars from her.Having said that, this bar did last a long time so if you occasionally need to leave your tortoise for a day then this may be a good item to keep in the vivarium as a backup food supply.It is expensive for what it is though. I would like to see it about 10% cheaper.

Good alternative snack
Easy to snap a piece off like a chocolate bar! Only thing is it’s very dry and hard on the outer shell so I’ve found my tortoise only tends to eat the middle section.

Tortoise didn’t touch it! Pushed it around! It broke in two then after two weeks went mouldy

A little disappointed with this product
Its a very solid bar of flowers and grasses it very tightly compressed. My tortoise was not in the least bit interested in it.But its not to say your tortoise wont like it.

Extremely hard and dry. My torts don’t even want to eat it. Doesn’t have hardly and flowers in it. Just compact grass.
