This stuff is the best. Particularly great if you're under Coronapocalypse pressure and either fairly new to doing your own nails, or pressed for time (maybe because like me you're in wife/mommy mode 24/7 with all these people at home that need you ALL THE TIME nowadays, and you feel like you barely have time for you?😁). You still want your hands to look great, and this stuff makes that part super easy. Don't be fooled by the color on the bottle though! This is not your regular opaque nail polish. It's decidedly more nude, more translucent. There are other more opaque colors in the Orly French Manicure line and in my humble opinion, this is the most natural looking one by a mile. Some of the other colors are so heavily tinted that it adds a strange look to the white tips of your nails. Which kinda defeats the thought of a French manicure. I personally use this when I either need a mani-in-a-hurry, or if I am all over the place in terms of colors that I'm wearing and feeling and don't want to commit to any one particular shade. This product doesn't even need a base coat. Just swipe on a coat, let it dry, then add another coat. A clear top coat isn't necessary for me, but if you wish you could always add one. To be clear, this is a one-step polish. There are no stupid sticker guides to fumble with, and there is no separate white polish for your tips. Unless you're blessed (or creepy?) enough to be ambidextrous, you will always end up with one hand reasonably well done and the other one a total nightmare, with multi-step French manicure kits. Unless you have someone to do that OTHER hand, it's never a job you can be proud of. With this stuff, those time consuming and messy challenges are a thing of the past. Apart from how great it looks, the other added beauty is that it requires virtually no clean up because it's so nude looking. This is another reason why it's great if you always feel like you're in a pinch for time. The color is so nude that it adds a noticeable-if-you-look hue to your nail, yet clear enough to allow the naturally white tips of your nails to shine through beautifully. Hence the appearance of a French manicure. Last point of fabulousness with this find is the ease of removal. Because of its barely-there look, removal is a breeze. Zero staining and messes, it wipes off easily with no residual mess left behind. It comes off easily with any ol' nail polishe remover you already have on hand, and leaves your nails in great shape. No soaking, no harsh chemicals needed, and no buffing and filing to remove any staining. This is a must-have item to have on hand, and gets your nails looking perfectly tended in a breeze. Highly highly highly recommend it.

Love this! 2 coats are needed, but it looks great. Leaves a glossy and rosy hue. Dries pretty quickly. I get compliments on it all the time. Will purchase again.

Hands down the best, easiest to apply nail polish ever. This doesn't chip, dries super fast, and give a light natural pink tint. It's the best!!

I'm a bit more of a minimalist when it comes to my nails - I keep them short, clean, like an easy and quick polishing experience; do not like going to the salon. Lately, I've been trying to polish them more often and added a couple of colors to my collection. I came across a similar type of polish to this one by accident and was intrigued...but it was a big brand name - I dare whisper, "Dior" - and cost $28.00! I loved the minimalist concept of it, but what a price tag! After doing some research, Orly - Bare Rose came up as a dupe. Not only did the price point, color and concept hit, but I love that Orly is cruelty free and has more "natural" ingredients. Anyway, I just received this and put it to the test. I did both my toenails and fingernails - three coats - I absolutely love the color and simplicity of this. Gives my nails a nice healthy glow. So easy to use and dried quickly. I don't know how the longevity is, but I typically try to redo my nails each week because I work with my hands a lot. This seems like it will be a great color if you need to redo your nails often and don't want to spend a lot of time doing them. Also, I've purchased from this seller before - they ship quickly, package the polish safely, and have great pricing...I've throughly enjoyed the other two colors of polish I have received. 9/29 - I wanted to update my review. I love this polish. I will admit, it doesn't wear great, but it is so easy to re-polish when needed. I wanted to add that I use this polish on my toenails and have notice an improvement of my nails. I wear closed shoes to work on the daily, and noticed that my toe nail quality was suffering. Since using this weekly, my nail quality has improved. I polish them at least once a week.

Orly polish is always a good product. The French manicure color is very pale pink. It is so close to clear that it barely shows up on my nails. If you want more pink color to your French manicure, this is not the shade you want.

This was delivered promptly and in perfect condition. I polished my fingernails with this polish after prepping and applying a base coat. Two coats later, this may be my new favorite brand!! The price is VERY reasonable and I LOVE the larger brush as well as the rubberized, easy to hold brush handle!! It applies smoothly and evenly and I really love the finished product! This particular shade is faint, but glossy. It looks really nice and clean and after a week, there are no chips or scratches. I will be DEFINITELY purchasing more of this brand!!

Highly recommend this polish. It makes your nails look so healthy and stays on forever.

It's like your nail color, but better :). I am using the polish alone, no French tip, but if I felt risky, can see how that would be quite nice. Good for busy moms with toddlers, doesn't show a lot of wear when chipped or wearing. Seems to dry pretty fast as well

perhaps the only very good point about this nail polish is the colour...it is lovely soft pink...very nice French manicure colour... I didn't like a few things about it - first and foremost, that it didn't dry very well...the coat didn't have a hard finish...it was very easy to warp the finishing since it didn't dry fast enough... you needed about 3 coats...one more than I would think necessary for a good quality nail polish it was a runny consistency - and I think this is why it didn't dry quick or hard enough... better than some brands I have tried...but unless it was a to-die-for colour, I would probably not buy this brand again...

this is a great every day nail varnish for when you want your nails to look nice and shiny and healthy. it needs to be reapplied every week but i look forward to my weekly remover and reapplication of varnish while relaxing at the end of the week! beautiful colour, love the applicator brush, completely surprised about this considering i purchased this as an add on!
