Barbie Signature Doll, 2022 Dia De Muertos Collectible, Traditional Ruffled Dress with Flower Crown & Calavera Face Paint

I've never been a big fan of Barbie but my daughter has shown an interest. She never really played with Barbie dolls but she's always had her eye out for special editions and collectibles. A few years ago she became interested in the whole history of Dia De Los Muertos and so we had to jump at the chance to purchase this very special Barbie. The doll is decked out in spectacular celebratory dress and Barbie's face is painted in solemn calaveras style and finished off with beautiful blue heels. The box Barbie arrives in is a collector's piece in itself, wonderfully illustrated with traditional Dia de los Muertos style. At this point, we probably can't afford to fill out our Dia de los Muertos Barbie collection with the 2021 or 2020 versions (wow...those collector prices!) but we will be adding to our daughter's set each year from now on and we're happy to have started with this wonderful piece.

Beautiful

Gifted to my niece. She loved it.

This is such a nice addition to the Barbie collection. I buy these for female family members, and they love them! The dolls are so beautiful - creative Day of the Dead designs and accents everywhere. The hair and face paint also look stunning. Whether or not you have Mexican roots, this doll is sure to please anyone who receives it.

I bought this doll for my moms birthday. It holds a special meaning between us and given our ancestry and culture, had even more meaning. It came in beautiful condition. Not one thing wrong with the doll. No smudges on the plastic that hides the doll inside. The outer box was beautifully intricate. If you’re iffy on getting this, don’t be. It is quite literally perfect. For the price Dia de Los Muertos usually go for, you cannot beat this! I am looking forward to purchasing more in the collection when more gift giving holidays approach. 🩷

This was a gift for a friend—she loved it. Doll has intricate details that are just lovely and face painting is flawless. The packaging is top quality, bright, and colorful. Excellent value.

I love my culture and the fact that’s it’s celebrated in such an iconic American Doll is just beautiful. She’s gorgeous my daughter loves her, details are amazing down to the dress. The box is stunning as well. This will be a treasured gift for years to come.

Beautiful details, great make-up, beautiful display doll. A little too pricey because greedy people buy them all and then sell them at 4 times their original price. But, from Mattel it is a lovely doll.

Great doll for collectors. Beautiful details and accents. Arrives packaged nicely. Not good as a toy as it has no articulation and it’s joints are fixed. Only moves arms/legs up and down

Exactly as pictured.
