I really like these and it seems the hens do too. My eggs stay very clean. Knocked off one star because we only received 9 in the box and the last one was separated from the backing so only 8 were usable.

Great nesting pads! Comes with ten natural fiber pads. Good appearance no odor to them and they are sized really well making them easy to lay in the nesting box.

One can truly feel the love & care and with which this product was made. Ordering and delivery was easy and rapid. Similar pads of a different brand are sold locally where I live, but they don't look as nice and are slightly more expensive.

Update to my original review: Eaton Pet and Pasture reached out to me directly after my review and corrected the issue. They did state they were made aware that there were some manufacturing issues and they’ve assured their customers that this has since been corrected. I do appreciate the excellent customer service they provided and standing behind their product. I will purchase this product again, but I will open them before my return window to check for quality. I have seen great reviews on this brand and I do use some other items from them so I was excited to try the nesting pads. I just opened the box today, which happens to be one day past my return window, and I was disappointed to see how paper thin they are… The first pad in the box was nice and thick and the rest were super super thin. And there were 15 in the box and I got a box of 10. I honestly feel like if a chicken laid an egg on one of these it would crack because there is not enough cushion. So I will be doubling up the pads since I can’t return them now.

As a grandma with 6 Silkin chickens from Singapore (2 males, 4 hens, and 2 chicks), I decided to order the Eaton Pet and Pasture Premium Laying Hen Nesting Pads from the USA just to test how they would fare in our hot climate. I must say, I am amazed by how well these nesting pads work! They have made egg collection much easier and cleaner for my hens, and the pads are comfortable for them. These are great for keeping out eggs clean - we live in a very muddy area and that has been an issue in the past. A little pricy, but they last a long time with our hens and they can’t kick them out of the nesting boxes!
