Wow! I am so pleased with this Shea Butter!! My face skin has become sensitive since menopause. I used something that caused my face to become dry and inflamed! I was red especially on my nose and across cheeks. I needed healing! I looked on the internet for help. It said to use shea butter,oats, milk & honey! I found a bar soap here on Amazon that has the other 3 ingredients. I tried another more expensive shea butter, but it made my inflammation worse! This one is the best for me! It is hard but when the heat of your fingers touch, it melts enough to apply. I don't care because it works!! Quickly too! I just got this less than a week ago! This is a wonderful product!! In addition, it helps women who really needs our support! An added bonus for me - it is cheaper! This company and Amazon are the BEST!! Thank you for an amazing product!! God Bless You!!

Wow this really is superior quality shea butter. I have been making my own body butter using oils and the Better Shea Butter brand bought on Amazon. By itself, that one is much thicker and doesn't melt easily. This one is so creamy and smooth I don't even need to mix it with oils to make a body butter. It already is the consistency of body butter. This one is also a bit lighter in color, and has a fainter smell which I like. It does still have that iconic nutty, "canyon-like" smell as my husband calls it. It is more expensive, but I like how it is organic and fair-trade certified. I do wish, however, it at least came in a glass container for the price. Mine arrived completely liquified (I live in Arizona), but it did not leak out of the jar. It solidified again in about 2 days at room temperature. It would have only taken an hour or so in the fridge. It is also easily absorbed by the skin, and not greasy feeling. It makes your skin feel so soft. I really like this brand, and would highly recommend! Update: the second batch I got was a bit gritty. Almost like there are tiny nut fragments. So that is unfortunate, but it still melts nicely and makes my skin buttery smooth so I would still purchase again.

I wish it wasn't packaed in wasteful, toxic plastic. I wish it was packaged in glass. This is not an environmentally friendly product because of the plastic.

I super love this Organic shea butter!! I was able to make a lot of DIY using this shea butter. I made a lip scrub here and my lips is super smooth because of the shea butter and also it has a high quality of it.

My mother, a long time ago, bought me a brand that smelled too perfumed and was hard as heck to get out of the jar, soften up and put on. I had hoped to use shea butter, but assumed they were all like this. I find this brand to be very easy to deal with and my skin felt very moisturized for quite some hours later. I love it! Finally found a shea butter I can use.

I put this on a rash and it was gone within 24 hours. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

It is good just smell is little oily type

Works very well on dry and very dry skin, especially on feet, used it daily for 3-4 months and i can see and feel the difference. The texture was a bit gritty but it melts and gets absorbed as soon as it is rubbed into the skin.The smell is ok for me as long it is a pure and effective. I apply it at night to give it a longer time to work. I have just purchased a second jar few days ago and started using it two weeks later ,it seems a bit different than the first purchase it does not smell the same(hardly any smell) and the texture is much smoother(not gritty)... now after two weeks of use i still like the product , it is good quality and works fantastic on dry feet, legs, elbows.. worth trying
