My husband works in a chicken factory pushing up to 400 pounds of meat on racks with wheels he just started this position on night's he weighs about 160 and he's about 5'9 he came home with deep bruises everywhere on his legs and shin these protected his legs and the elastic keeps it held up no sliding but you must measure and get the correct sizing so his thigh was at 13cm so if your looking for good knee and leg support get these haven't washed them yet so we will see just going to hand wash great price and comfortable

I have thin skin on my shins due to years of psoriasis and related medications. I thus bruise easily. Working on ladders is especially difficult because shins take a good deal of abuse but these pads solve that problem. The knee padding makes it much easier to kneel down on my aging (aged?) knees; the effect being akin to using a kneeling pad. My only quibbles are that the sizes tend to run small; I had to immediately exchange my first purchase for larger ones. Secondly, during a long day the tops tend to ride down from the calves to just below the knees. The elastic could be made tighter. However, doing so runs the risk of them becoming tourniquets, so I understand the reluctance to do so.

I was not expecting these to be very good but wanted to try them for the low cost. I am a mountain biker and hate wearing typical pads. I bought these for the sun protection and light padding. I rode about 80 miles with them and was pleasantly surprised. They are comfortable and you forget you have them on. They offer great sun protection and warmth. I banged my shin with the pedal and the pad protected me. At first I thought they would be too loose but they stayed on and stayed in place the entire rides. It seems that a little sweat helps them stay put. Very light and you could put them in a pack if you can fit the bulk. I will be careful to hand wash. These are a great MTB purchase!

Not made from the best material but it feels ok

I like these since they're not overly bulky and I don't need my full gear when playing street hockey. These fit perfectly under my hockey pants and provides enough padding to prevent any slashes to my shin or knees. It's not super thick padding but enough to get the job done. My biggest concern is the spandex material because it's very thin and I can see it stretching after just it's 1st use. For now it stays in place and works well, I just hope it doesn't lose it elasticity.
