Great Natural Alternative to Chocolate!
I love how earthy and naturally sweet this carob powder tastes. It’s a wonderful caffeine-free alternative that provides great health benefits, including being rich in polyphenols and fiber that support digestion and blood sugar management. However, it’s important to note that it does NOT taste like chocolate, so don’t expect a chocolate substitute flavor. This carob has its own unique, mild flavor that works perfectly in baking, smoothies, or hot drinks for those seeking something different and healthy.

Healthy and good!
This organic carob mixes well in my smoothie and also makes great all natural brownies. No sugar. No cocoa. Great taste.

Definitely not chocolate, but it will do...
I got this today and tried it in a smoothie. I am currently on an elimination diet for medical reasons and chocolate is a no go for now, but carob powder is fine. Based on a few of the reviews I read it sounded like this stuff tasted like chocolate. It doesn't, BUT it isn't chocolate either. It does have a taste reminiscent to chocolate I guess but definitely an underlying/after taste that is anything but chocolate. Hard to describe but it isn't a bad taste in my opinion, just different. I would say if you can't eat chocolate then this is probably going to be about as close as you can get to cocoa powder, you just need to set your expectations accordingly. It was packaged very well, powder is very fine, and it blended well. I can't comment on it's taste compared to other brands as this is the first time I have had carob powder, but it passed enough for me to use it while on my elimination diet and possibly continued use beyond.

The Best Stuff on the Market
This is the best carob powder that I can currently fine on the market. When I need a carob fix I can always rely on Terrasoul. Five stars.

Nice nutty flavor
First time trying carob powder and I like it. It has a nutty flavor and works well as a substitute for hot cocoa minus the caffine. The powder is very fine and mixes well. For those who are concerned about the prop 65 warning it's due to acrylamide which is a natural substance that forms when food or plant substances are roasted or cooked to crisp (example french fries). No real harm unless ingested in large quantities.

Tasty cocoa alternative with health benefits
The best cacao powder I’ve tried and the cost is good. I use this in place of cocoa powder. I make smoothies, puddings and cookies all the time. I love that it is caffeine free. I have a delicate stomach and this does not cause any issues.
