This is an amazing portable synthesizer, with a balance of affordable price and features. The size is amazingly compact considering all the features you get, it looks really retro-cool (and can be customized further if desired, as I did with my custom knobs), and it's durable enough to last through daily use. It's also just plain fun playing tunes with it. If you're into synthwave music, this is a must-buy!

Gave this as a gift and it was a hit. Fun to play, even if you have no musical talent :) Sound is good (although I'm not an expert). Price was a little high for what it is, but as a gift it was worth it.

I wanted the stylophone beat, but after watching a few YouTube videos I realized that I needed this one as well! Well, not need, but they are so fun to play together! My little pianist enjoys playing with it beach se she can play things she knows on piano and it’s so portable! You can also play with headphones!

This synth is so much fun on it's own and sounds great through other pedals. CV gate out allows for a world of possibilities through MIDI also. It's a bit overpriced for what it is and the built in speaker is disappointing, but overall a neat little synth. Expression strip is a bit difficult to use by the way.

I really enjoy the added functionality on this second generation of the Stylophone Gen X. I still have the original version, which was kindof what got me into synthesizers from piano in the first place, but this second version is much better in several ways, including basic functionality, but especially the ports for connecting it to other synthesizers. To me, those CV and Gate ports bring this from the territory of toy to something I can actually use with other synths. Recently I've used the gate out from a drum machine, then patched the gate out on this unit to its pitch in, and every time that drum triggers, depending on how the LFO is set, I get different sets of beeps and boops. Good fun. Anyway, I'd recommend it for a first synth if you want to dabble, or maybe a way to expand the sound of a basic synth setup. My one problem with it is that it's only batteries for power, I wish it had a power port on it, but I just try to turn it off whenever it isn't actually in active use, and the batteries seem to last a long time that way.

I actually really love it, great fun to play lots of tools to play with, and once you start using the CV patches in the back loads of fun to be had as a drone machine, lots of instrument for such a low price
