This is a nice from afar portrait lens!

Beautifully made and easy to use. At f2.8 max aperture indoors without flash is easy. Nikon Z has three lines of zooms: 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200 all S Line and F2.8. The 14-30 and 24-70 f4 all S Line. They have a non S Line f2.8 series which this is the wide offering. It’s a fine offering but I put S Line lenses on my Z8 but I have a Z6iii it goes well on.

Truly a storytellers lens. I paired this with my Nikon Z6iii and the videos and pictures are stunning. The AF is quick. The weight is well balanced. The build quality of the lens is exceptional. Sharpness the video is exceptional. Highly recommend. For the price it’s a great addition to your setup.

I have a nikon z6ii and at the beginning I bought the fix 50 mm that is just amazing but was not allowing me to have a proper shooting during parties at home. So I decided to go with this lens and it’s now my first choise.

One of the things that I targeted during the first of the year, was a full frame high resolution camera and lens kit to replace my Olympus setup for travel photography. Being mindful of going through TSA checkpoints when flying, I knew that I wanted two lenses that could cover a wide range of photo opportunities from urban centers to wilderness hiking. After long research, I purchased this lens for my wide angle and low light needs. I picked this lens because it checked all of my boxes regarding size and weight, while providing excellent image quality in low light situations, like museums where flashes are not allowed. It hits the sweet spot for high optical value for the dollars spent and is a lens I recommend without hesitation for travel.

Nice lense, but than it is a Nikkor.

I use it mostly for video with a gimbal stabilizer. The compact size and small weight is a big plus. AF and image quality are excellent. Well worth the price.

Best investment yet! The wide lens works well for outdoor photography. I find myself using this lens exclusively these days.
