My cat is an escape artist and is also great at getting tags off of his collar... not a great combination. This tag holder does an excellent job of keeping the tag in place and doesn't let the tag get wet when he drinks water, which is a huge plus. It is a little large, so some cats might not tolerate it well, but he got used to it reasonably fast. The only downside to this holder is that the waterproof seal nearly silences the tag. So if you're trying to find the tag somewhere, it might be tough to hear. If you live in a particularly loud place, that might be a dealbreaker.

Highly recommend! My dog loves to go swimming and I can leave this on her collar and not worry anything will be ruined or broken. It will eventually wear out with use, but it lasts quite a while with movement and it isn't cumbersome to my dog.

I bought this for one of my dogs，who was making it a habit to escape from the yard something like 8 or 9 months earlier. Kiv loves water，so I knew having a waterproof holder was important. Most escapes resulted in Kiv returning wet and muddy after a swim in the creek behind my house. In December，I had three dogs with me when I had a car accident. The dogs escaped，two were retrieved safely but Kiv ran into traffic right in front of a car. He was lucky—he yelped then ran off. My car needed to be towed；I managed to get home with two dogs thanks to help from the Austin police. I was frustrated I couldn‘t even look for Kiv，not having a car. I finally remembered he was wearing an Airtag. With my iPad，I found his Airtag signal in a neigborhood close to the site of the accident. I called 911 again and a compassionate Austin police officer found him with my Airtag information and watched him until I could get there by an Uber car. By this time it was 5:30 am—almost 12 hours later. Kiv was lying down in the grass，but alert—near the site of the accident—appearing to be waiting！ We once again got a ride home from the police. Who deserve thanks and at least a few dozen donuts—if that‘s still a thing. Kiv had a deep laceration on his ankle，but otherwise checked out OK at a Veterinary ER later in the day，and was treated—his wound cleaned and stitched. He came home with a collar and 7 days of antibiotics. The IPX8 Waterproof holder worked & the Airtag worked when I needed them！I’ve ordered two more for the other dogs—hoping I won‘t need to use them. The holder is very tough—as advertised. My dogs often play hard with frequent mock attacks on one another. This Airtag holder has been battle-tested to be durable and has held up to the worst abuse that can be expected. It is a great buy—valuable protection at a very low price. It was easy to put on，fit the collar， and looks OK—I really don’t even notice it，and neither does Kiv.

Got first one of these about year and 4 months ago. No issues with waterproofing; our dog swims up to 3 times a day. Active waterfowling and upland game dog. Case lost 2 of 4 screws (luckily at home), the corners cracked. Good enough for me; already ordered and replaced the first one. (I’ll get next one in a year and replace that before it fails)

We liked this so much we bought a second one when we got a new dog. Our first has held up for a few years now with zero issues... that says a lot! Some might call the screw-on design overkill, but that's exactly why I love it. The AirTag stays firmly in place and isn't going anywhere. No sliding, no flipping, no worrying. We tried the cheaper silicone options first, but our poodles' hair kept getting caught in them, and they shifted around more than I wanted. This one's smooth hard plastic solves both problems! Nothing to snag fur, and it stays put. If you want peace of mind that your dog's AirTag is actually secure and not just loosely attached, this is the one to get. Highly recommend, especially for dogs with longer or curlier coats.

I tried several airtag holders and this one has been my favorite. It attaches firmly to any collar and will not fall off. I throw collars in the washing machine often and the airtag hasn't broken. However, I have had the back plate crack on one when changing it between collars and the back face of the first holder I installed is cracking. That's because my puppy is young, very active, and plays at the dog park every day with other bigger dogs. This first holder lasted about 6 months before I noticed any damage, and it could keep on going. Very good product for the money. The replacement parts are also a nice touch.

I love the concept of this product and how easy it was to assemble. I appreciated the tool they gave with the kit as well. Unfortunately, after having this for less than months the product has cracked. I fear I’ll have to get a new one to ensure the AirTag does not fall out on a walk. My dog isn’t excessively aggressive in terms of play so I don’t think there was a valid reason for it to break. I wish there was a warranty since the proud has “super durable” engraved on it. UPDATE: Seller reached out to me to reconcile the issue. Sent me a new on VERY quickly (like I got it the next day). Unfortunately this one had a defect. I let them know and they sent another the same day. This new one works perfectly and I am thankful to have a replacement. We will see how this one holds up. I changed my review from a 2 star to a 4 because of their excellent customer service. If it were an option I would do a 3.5 if I could since the second one sent was defective.

I recently picked up 2 of the IPX8 Waterproof Airtag Dog Collar Holders for my dogs because they were always getting out, and it’s been a game-changer. The holder is sturdy, and the waterproof feature gives me peace of mind knowing the Airtag will stay protected no matter the weather. It securely fits onto the dogs collar, and the Airtag stays in place without falling off. If you’re looking for a reliable way to keep your dog’s Airtag safe and dry, this holder is a fantastic choice. Pros: Waterproof, keeps the Airtag safe in all weather conditions. Sturdy design, securely holds the Airtag in place. Fits well onto the collar without risk of falling off. Ideal for tracking dogs that tend to escape which ours do Cons: May not fit all collar sizes, so be sure to check compatibility. (we have one small and one medium size dog) Slightly bulky for smaller dogs or very slim collars. Airtag could be harder to remove if needed quickly. (not a big deal)

Super easy clean install. Yet to see how durable this is, but I really appreciate that this comes with backup screws and a backup ring, just incase you need it. Also, no other tools were required. I like how discreet yet sleek this looks on a collar. The last thing you would want is your doggo running around in public with a large apple airtag logo. This way it reduced theft of an AirTag. And also keeps your dog safe. I’m placing an order for the second. Suggestion to seller- List them as a pair with a slightly reduced rate. These are worth the money. (Atleast first impressions) …in the future I’d come back to these Pro tip- most “airtag collars” here are frightfully expensive. Mainly due to shipping, customs- I’d suggest searching for “tactical dog collars” on other sites like aliexpress, (that’s where I got mine) and get the AirTag from Amazon I did the math and I got 6 high quality collars for the price of 1 :)

El fin de semana fuimos a la playa y mis dos Golden Retrievers nadando en el mar, revolcandose en las olas, embarrandose en la arena y despues lavandolas con la manguera para quitarles la arena. Puedo decir con certeza que si es ultra impermeable este soporte. Estaba seguro que iban a fallar... no fallo, siguen funcionando ambos airtags sin problema. Ademas la instalación esta facil, se ve bien, no les estorba y es imposible que se les caiga o que se lo quiten. Altamente recomendable.
