Fancy salt that makes you feel like a gourmet chef (and slightly French)
This Celtic Grey Sea Salt is not just seasoning, itโs an experience. Straight from the Guรฉrande salt marshes, the crystals are big, chunky, and beautifully grey with that slightly damp, rustic feel that says, โYes, Iโm artisanal.โ The salt content is naturally high, as you'd expect from sea salt. What makes it stand out is the moisture content. It's not dry like standard table salt. It's slightly damp to the touch, which helps lock in flavour and gives it that lovely, earthy character. It clumps a little, but in a natural way, not like itโs stale or gone bad. Just real, untreated sea salt doing its thing. The texture is coarse and satisfying. Whether you're crushing it between your fingers or throwing it straight onto a sizzling roast, it adds the perfect crunch and mineral-rich flavour. It doesn't just season your food, it elevates it. The quality is top notch. You can taste the difference compared to regular refined salt. Itโs less harsh, more balanced, and has depth, like it actually came from the sea, not a factory. The 1 kg bag is generous and will last a long time, making it excellent value for money, especially considering how premium it feels. I keep mine in a ceramic jar, and itโs like having a little piece of the French coast in my kitchen. Perfect for seasoning, finishing dishes, salting pasta water, or just feeling like a culinary wizard. If you havenโt cooked with proper grey salt yet, youโre definitely missing out.

The Best Salt Iโve Ever Used โ Pure, Flavorful, and Full of Benefits!
Celtic Sea Salt has completely changed the way I cook and care for my health. The flavor is incredibly rich and complexโfar superior to regular table salt. Just a pinch brings out the best in any dish, whether it's eggs, roasted veggies, or soups. It doesnโt just salt your foodโit enhances it. What sets this salt apart is its natural mineral content. It's unrefined, sun-dried, and harvested using traditional methods in France, retaining essential minerals like magnesium and potassium. I even add a pinch to my water in the morning for better hydration and energy, and I truly feel the difference. The texture is beautifulโmoist, slightly coarse, and greyish in color. I love the artisanal feel of crushing it fresh for each meal. Iโve also used it in baths and homemade scrubsโitโs incredibly soothing for the skin. No additives, no processing, just pure salt the way nature intended. If you care about flavor, health, and quality, this is a must-have in your kitchen. Iโll never go back to regular salt again

Great salt.
This is probably the second best salt you can buy. The first being Baja gold, but that's a bit pricey. It's salty, so you don't need much, It's not gleeming white, which suggest no chemicals have been used to make it more pleasing to the eye. I don't much care to be scammed this way, so it's fine that it looks slightly greyish. It dissolves well and the price is good, also has some health benifits with minerals.

EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY AND TASTE - BUT Misleading labelling.
A MUST BUY PRODUCT - If you are looking for a Natural, Authentic Taste and flavour . I previously purchased another brand and although that brand was also very impressed by it, it was not offered in fine grain, so the grains were quite large and did not dissolved quickly, so I had to mill it. This particular Celtic salt is offered in fine grains, and the taste is amazing, and taste natural. You don't need to add extra amount to get the required taste, unlike the previous brand I purchased. However, I was very disappointed due the labelling information given. For anyone with geographical awareness will know that the word "Celtic" is of UK region, although the product can or might manufactured in another country . I specifically purchased this "Celtic" Salt because the labelling states the country of origin is the United Kingdom, as a matter of authenticity. Notwithstanding, having received this item, I noticed that at the bottom of the package (picture 2) the labelling states "product of France". How can it be 'Celtic' and also a product of France? It is either a Celtic salt MANUFACTURED in France Or a French sea salt. If the latter is true, then legally, it should not be called "Celtic". By virtue of EU and UK FOOD LABELLING Regulations, this is legally misleading labelling; misleading the consumer as to the true country of origin or place of provenance. Notwithstanding, this does not reduce the taste and exceptional quality of the product, and for this reason, I have given 4 stars.

Great addition to the pantry.
This is great for sprinkling over your food; it's much finer than the coarse one. I love that it's organic and good for my health. Great value for money. I'm not put off by its colour after all, I'm eating it anyway.
