Everbuild Multipurpose Wood Filler – Suitable for Indoor and Outdoor Use – Sandable – Light Oak – 250ml

This is such great filler. Easy to mix and use, it has quite a thick consistency, stuck well and smothed easily, one tub did the gate (before & after pics uploaded so you can gage coverage), and it covered quite a few larger holes. It repaired the wooden gate really well, and should now last a while longer without having to fork out for new wood pieces or a new gate. I've since sanded it down, it smoothes out well and didn't take any chunks away from the places I'd filled, it's solid, dried quickly too. Will be painting over it so will see how well it covers. I'll update my review if there's any issues.

I bought this filler to use on 3D printed PLA parts (see in-progress photo), and am pleased with the results. It is very strong, and sands very well. It is pre-mixed and ready to use from the pot. Working time is not huge, as it begins to dry out in your hands if you are only using small amounts at a time, so I have found it better to use a little more than needed. Using damp wet-and-dry paper will soon cut through the filler, but be warned - I have found reintroducing water softens the filler again, and can remove it in blobs. In summary, great value, easily workable, and strong once dry.

Filled in knot holes in our wooden summerhouse with this. It was easy to apply with a pallet knife. Dried quickly and sanded it down easily,

I bought this product to fill cracks in an oak-coloured wooden item, carefully choosing the correct shade. When dry, the colour of the filler was creamy white rather than the claimed light oak. I tried to tone down the contrast between filler & wood using a dye, but the filler took up less of the dye than the wood, making the contrast greater. I ended up having to apply a coloured stain to the item to tone down the appearance of the repaired cracks. The filler appears to be of good quality, although it needs to be left more than a day after filling a deep crack, otherwise it will begin to protrude slightly from the crack some time after being sanded flat. However, the lack of colour accuracy is disappointing.

Works well. Not sure off it's longevity, whether it might set in the jar over extended storage.

What I disliked is opening the jar to check the contents to find it looks like someone helped themselves first! Will update when I have used the product.
