The bristles are firm and massage your face without scratching it and I have had no bristle loss in the week or so I have had it.The companies ethos is good as well. There are clear instructions with the brush and an emphasis on customer satisfaction. It even comes with a lifetime guarantee which I cannot see ever being used.Overall I am extremely happy with my Zilberhaar beard brush and really have to restrain myself from brushing my beard more than once a day.
