Helped to eliminate the fungus gnats
Actually managed to abate the fungus gnat infestation. It's not an overnight fix, but when used in combination with fly-paper hangers we eventually got on top of the problem and broke the breeding cycle. Very easy to use, just sprinkle on top of the soil. Plastic bag is non-sealable, so you'll need a sandwich bag clip or similar to keep it airtight. Good size for the price.

SUPERB Result For Bed Bug Elimination
Amazing stuff. VERY highly recommended. Had a few bed bugs ๐ due to my partner travelling back and forth. We were getting bites every few days. With young children in the house, getting a chemical treatment from pest control wasn't an option and the high heat treatment was very expensive so invested in a steam cleaner, vacuumed everyday washed bedding every other day on 60ยฐ and then bought interceptor traps that I brushed lightly with this stuff. 3 days in there is 1 dead bed bug so I'm hoping this continues to do it's magic as we haven't discovered their hiding place as of yet. Early days, still not sleeping until late from paranoia but good results so far as we are getting less bites.

Plants under seige from ant attacks? Use this brand .
The best treatment for pesky ants in the house and garden I have found. I have huge problems with colonies of ants stripping the stems of my dalhias and aubergine plants in the garden. So I diligently and carefully pour a little around the soil in contact with the stems of the plants under seige and the ants give up. Please note I recently tried a different brand which was absolutley useless, so I am going to by muiti mite like this again. It is definitely owrth the money. A little is very effective.

Great results on my chickens but only if everywhere is treated.
Got this to treat red mites in my coop. I got 3 chickens 3 months ago and have them in a brand new coop. I certainly did not expect an infestation so quickly considering everything was new etc. one of my chickens went broody about a month after she started laying and a 2nd one went broody 10 days ago. Now I'm wondering if what I believed were signs of broodiness are actually the effects of being anaemic from bites. Their combs have gone very pale and they sleep in the nest boxes day and night only coming out to poo and eat. I know this powdereis working but it's only effective if you find all of the areas the mites hide. I've just found a load that were in a crevice above the nest boxes! If you treat them they will die but it's finding the damn things in the first place. I'm using a brilliant little powder puffer I found on Amazon ยฃ6 that barber shops use to puff the powder on the mend. It has a soft squeazy air bulb similar to a blood pressure monitor fitted to the screw lid of the glass bottle. The air pipe is stainless steel and the end is smooth and rounded and slips under feathers and wings without the chickens knowing. The only noise is a gentle puff that my girls have accepted. It comes in a lovely wooden box too. Only 4 stars because I'm only part way through the treatment but it's already killed the areas I have treated. I've not worn and safety goggles or mask as I try not to puff it too near me. If it's safe for my small dogs and chickens then it's safe for me?

I bought the product as 2 of my cats had to stay at the vet as they got neutered and both of them returned home with flees on them. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs all together, so getting rid of flees is not easy. We tried collars, tablets, spot ons, while the house is cleaned regularly with steam as well, and sprayed constantly with anti flee spray. Nothing seemed to help, they were constantly scratching, and I felt I give them toxic things for nothing. So I looked online for natural solutions. Lemon spray, didn't work. Apple cider spray didn't work. This Diatomaceous Earth was my last try. I have to be very careful when I'm using it, as if they breathe it in, it can damage their lungs. Also the cats lick themselves, and the dogs too, to a certain extent, so I could not apply much. After first use, there was a noticable silence in the room, they stopped scratching. They had a really good sleep and I was so happy. However I checked their fur/skin unfortunately we still have flee problem. But, it made a difference and I want to update this review later to share if there is any progress. As I'm using the product cautiously, I can't comment on damaging the hoover ect, as I didn't use as much to damage it. I found dead flees, which is a good start. I would defenately recommend as an aid, but I can't comment yet, if it is 100 % effective.

Diatomaceous disaster
Cats brought fleas into the house so wanted to use this to help control any fleas that might have been left in my carpets. Don't make the same mistake I did. I couldn't spread it evenly with a sieve so used a brush to spread it, whole room filled with dust and covered everything in the room. Decided to leave it alone and give it a good vacuum the following day. Kicked up loads more dust and ruined my very expensive vacuum cleaner. My own fault obviously but just wanted to leave this review as a warning to others. Maybe use a bit more caution than I did if you want to use it around the house. Not sure if it worked or not but I assume it would

Fantastic for Chickens.
I use this in my chicken coops to help control red mites , fleas etc. it's by far the best thing I've used. I've tried various sprays and other products that claim to do the same thing and none of them do or at least not as well as diatomaeous earth. It can be a little messy and you will get covered in dust so be ready for that. I tend to sprinkle this around every 2nd cleanout of the coop over the summer (every 2 weeks) when red mites are rife. then once a month after that to prevent fleas and any other bugs the rest of the year. It's also great for putting in chickens dust baths.
