For ages, I was at my wits' end with my dog's constant scratching and licking. A vet friend suggested that sometimes, underlying issues like poor oral health can contribute to overall inflammation and discomfort in the body. This was a real lightbulb moment for me. I was genuinely impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the fact they're vet-recommended. While the chews worked wonders on soothing his itchy skin within a few weeks, I also turned my attention to his dental hygiene, which might have been a root cause. For this, I introduced the InFanso PR400 Dog Plaque Remover. Using these two products together has been a revelation. The NutriPaw chews helped calm his systemic itching and supported his immune response. Meanwhile, the InFanso PR400 provided the mechanical brushing ability to thoroughly clean his teeth and gums, tackling plaque and significantly reducing his bad breath. The combined effect has been incredible. Not only is he scratching far less and seems much more comfortable, but his teeth cleanliness has improved dramatically – they're visibly whiter. I'm convinced that this two-pronged approach of internal support and direct oral cleaning is the key. I couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend this duo to any owner dealing with similar issues.

According to weight my Frenchie needed two a day. 1 month on and it had made no difference. Month 2 and I upped it to 3 tabs a day. Made a slight improvement. Month 3 and I’m on double the recommended dosage (the max you can increase to according to the manufacturer) and we are finally seeing some reduction in paw redness and licking. But four of these things a day works out very costly. So the value goes right down for me as they need to be a lot stronger or larger.

My older Westie last year (he was 11 at the time) after never have any kind of the dreaded skin problems, had to get allergy shots 3 times. He was so uncomfortable and I found him biting himself to badly, he was literally bleeding 😩 this year, I started him on these. I give him 3 in the morning with his antihistamine and he’s so happy again. Highly recommend these ❤️ worth every penny!! Still cheaper than a £108 allergy shot at the vets and without the stress!

I'm not sure I can give this product a fair review as my dog has other health problems. She was diagnosed with acute dermatitis at age 3, she is now 12. During this time she's been on 5.4mg Apoquel twice a day for 9 years which has resulted in other health issues arising over this extended period of time and I wanted an alternative to this medication if possible. I have used numerous products in the past, from lotions, shampoos, diet changes, medication and spent hundreds of pounds on these various products with the hope of finding just one that will help my pal. Sadly this one has again let us down. It read on the enclosed tag to give the product 2 weeks before reviewing and at least 30 days before the product might show any signs of helping. I haven't been using the product that long but I feel I need to make a review now as this product has made my girl quite ill. She has had extensive diarrhea, swollen tummy and vomiting after only a couple of days. I gave her 2 chews as she is 11kg, first thing in the morning. The first day she was fine though she didn't like the taste of them, I disguised them in potted meat as I use this for her Apoquel. I can't say if its the ingredients of the product or her sensitivity to certain food and allergies, but she's had a rough time because of it. Instead of helping her they have made her quite poorly. I've took her to the vet whom advised me to stop giving them to her (which I didn't need to be told) and give her chance to get them out of her system and some medicine to help her recover. So what I was hoping would be a solution turned out to be more problematic and another costly vet bill. I am writing this so if anyone out there has a dog with the same illnesses, allergies and sensitivities as my girl, please speak to your vet first before giving anything containing these ingredients. Again I can't say for sure the product is solely to blame, but there is something in this that made my dog very poorly, so please take care when using this product on your pooch. The Apoquel itself is patented until 2026, so the active ingredient "oclacitinib maleate" within this product can't be used by another drug company until 2026 due to rights and so fourth. It's therefore only available by prescription from your vet. This ingredient is neither a steroid or antihistamine, which explains why neither of these things alone work on my girl, due to past experience and trying various products. I'm afraid my girl will live a shorten life because of Apoquel, as the vet has already told me it's doubtful she'll see her 13th birthday. Apoquel has side effects, it was a relatively new drug when my dog first went on it with minimal side effects, sadly that is no longer the case and as the years go on and more research into this drug takes place, more side effects and conditions have been reported. As for this product buy nutri-paw, please just check with your vet first before trying it with your pooch, I'd hate for anyone to suffer through what me and my girl have this past week.

I bought these after reading NutriPaw’s homepage and their Amazon page and some great reviews… but they made my dogs itching even worse ! On day 2 of having them (2 a day) she was non stop scratching even through the night and her ears became very inflamed . I stopped giving them to her as it was the only thing different and the itching reduced . This week I decided to give her just one and see IF these were the cause, very quickly she was non stop itching and her ears flared up again within 24 hours☹️ I took her to the vets to get checked over, just to be sure, he confirmed it was a reaction to something and after looking at the ingredients listed suggested the Flax could possibly be the issue as he said he’d known Gluten Wheat intolerant dogs/pets react to Flax or Hemp seed & oil..and these contain Flexseed . Although Flaxseed doesn’t contain Gluten, it will become contaminated if processed on the same equipment or are within the same environment as it. Flax can actually worsen inflamation, increase itching, be the cause of itching ,hives, redness, swelling, gastro’problems/vomiting breathing issues and if your pet is taking Anticoagulant medication it can increase the clotting effect ..! There are LOTS of reviews similar to my dogs reaction to them and in so many of these reviews, their pets have known allergies, they’re not just suffering from yeast or gut issues. I buy very few items of food for my dog if/when I do they’re only Gluten free, I now wouldn’t buy anything with either Flax or Hemp listed and think ALL the ingredients (and additives!) in these treats should be listed on the advertisement/listing page . I’d be very interested to know from Nutripaw if they’re concerned by the amount of dogs having the SAME reaction to ingredients within these treats and is it something they’re looking into? Also, can they absolutely 100% guarantee that their product has no way of being contaminated in the manufacture process or from being in the same environment of other Gluten products ?

We have been using these for our dog who suffers terribly with seasonal itching and the improvement has been really noticeable. The scratching and paw licking has reduced significantly since we started giving these regularly. Our dog absolutely loves the taste of them too which makes it easy. They are not cheap but genuinely seem to work and that makes them well worth it.

I was sceptical when I bought these, but I started my boy on these and I'd normally be 3 months into Fred having a scabby belly and scratching all the time. However he's sore n scab FREE. I have to feed them with beef mince but being a lab he's totally happy with that. REALLY Works a treat

Didn’t work on my dog

Es la segunda vez que lo pido. Este probiótico ha curado la alergia que tenía mi perro en las orejas. Tenía heridas de tanto rascarse. También fue bueno combinarlo con el champú especial, pero este producto es increíble para los picores de la piel. Hay que ser pacientes y esperar mínimo 2 semanas o un mes para empezar a ver resultados.
