I have been wanting a Tangle Teezer for ages but have never wanted to pay the full price for one as I thought this was a little expensive. So in the meantime I have previously purchased a couple of copy type items which are meant to offer the same type of thing but have found they just scratch your scalp! So after spending that money on cheaper alternatives, I should have just took the plunge on one of the real deal! I first tried a Tangle Teezer a couple of years ago when a family member had one on holiday and found it was perfect for detangling my pool hair! I got this product when it was reduced to £7.31 so decided it was finally time to take the plunge, and I'm so happy I did! I mainly use my Tangle Teezer for when I go swimming as my hair always feels very tatty and dry when I get out of the pool so hate trying to get a brush through it! The soft bristles mean that they don't tug on the hair too much causing it to snap, instead they just gently tease the hair to detangle it without pulling half of my hair out! I have noticed a significant difference in the amount of hair that has been lost when brushing my hair, it has been much less with this product. I have to section my hair in half to brush with this as I feel like the bristles are too soft to really get through the thicker part of my hair at the back so I just divide it into 2 to do. It does feel really weird having the brush in your hand as opposed to having a handle, I know they do offer this so I think this is the option I would go for next as I find it a little awkward to brush properly at the back with it being in my hand. Maybe I just have a big head? Lol. I don't think I'd ever go back now, this is the best brush I've ever had for keeping my hair healthy and I would love to see a barrel brush that I could use whilst straightening my hair.

Bought for my wife to replace the same model which has come apart after 4 years daily use. No complaints!

Love a tangle teezer. Great for the hair as repeat brushing brings out the hairs natural oils and massaged onto scalp can help the hair follicles and massaging brings blood the area helping protect against hair loss.

Got this brush because I’ve heard this was one of the best brushes when it came to detangling. So I decided to purchase it as I was looking for a brush even though it was a bit pricey. Overall for my 4c hair it does an okay job of detangling although I had to use it with a comb as well as my hair doesn’t really detangle using just it. It works really well on wet/damp hair not so much on dry. Although one thing I really hate is that it is really hard to clean.

Amazing build quality. No more painful hair brushing

Have used these for years, this one replaces a lost one. I've got long thick curly hair and nothing else gets through it as well as this, especially in the morning when it's extra tangled. I don't like most brushes but these don't scratch the scalp and do the job. Wouldn't use anything else.

When I first opened the box and felt the tangle teaser, I wasn't sure how well I would actually get on with it as I found it a weird shape and slightly uncomfortable in my hand. After a few brushes though, I completely understood why the brush was designed in the way it was and found it really helped with getting the brush through the tangles in my hair. The one thing that I found took a bit of getting used to is the sound that this makes as you pull it through your hair. I was convinced that it was my hair snapping off but when I check after using the brush, there are less hairs than I would normally find when brushing my hair normally so I know that this isn't breaking my hair in the way that I thought it was. I do lose a few hairs when I use this but that's quite normal when I brush my hair anyway so I don't feel that this is making breakages in my hair any worse, and in fact, it has made my hair a lot more manageable as I used to let my hair dry naturally which did sometimes leave it frizzy and unmanageable but I can quickly brush my hair through and let it dry naturally without having to spend ages combing out any tangles and knots. It has been a good buy for me as it helps with those knots and tangles that I seem to get quite frequently in my hair, especially on one side which tangles a lot. This means that rather than spending a few minutes brushing out the tangles, a few brushes through with this and my hair is tangle free. While I don't have children myself, I think that this would be perfect for young children's hair that tangles easily as it doesn't pull on the hair itself and is less painful than trying to brush out tangles.

Im Haushalt hatten wir schon eine Bürste, doch meine Frau wollte die nicht nutzen, da ich die Bürste doch mit Haarspray oder Pomade einsaue ;-) Auch wenn ich die Bürste jedes mal sauber mache, hatte sie immer etwas bedenken das Rückstände dran sind und sie sich Ihre Haare damit einsaut. Also habe ich im Tagesangebot zugeschlagen, wo es die Bürstn für 6,60 EUR pro Stk. zu kaufen gab. Da habe ich dann gleich 2 Stk. bestellt. Denn in gewissen Drogerieketten kostet die Bürste pro Stk. 14,95 EUR, was mir ehrlich gesagt zu teuer ist. Meine Frau hat langes Kopfhaar, und die Haare verknoten sich recht schnell. Und mit den alten Holzbürsten die wir hatten, hat das Haare bürsten immer geziept und wir hatten auch schon extra Bürsten die nicht so dolle ziepen sollten beim Bürsten. Ich meinte andauernd, daß sie doch die Tangle Teezer nutzen soll, doch aus besagten oben genannten Gründen, wollte Sie es nicht. Mit den alten Bürsten mußte ich zum Teil ihre Haare kämmen und sie hatte immer panik das es gleich wehtut und man mußte immer von unten anfangen zu bürsten und dann immer weiter zum Kopf hin sich vorarbeiten und es war immer irgendwo ein Knoten an dem man festhing. Irgendwann hab ich dann auch mal die gesäuberte Tangle Teezer genommen und gleich von oben angefangen zu bürsten, worauf ich schon einen Einlauf bekam das es ja wehtut wenn ich gleich von oben anfangen würde zu bürsten. Aber.... es war nichts und Frau sehr überrascht :-) Doch jetzt hat sie ihre eigene Bürste und ist von der total begeistert und nutzt sie zum Glück auch. Die alten Bürsten stehen jetzt kurz davor weggeschmissen zu werden ^^ Denn mit der Tangle Teezer Bürste ziept das Bürsten jetzt nicht mehr. Man hört zumindest kein Schreien und Fluchen aus dem Bad und Mann ist jetzt auch wieder glücklicher und entspannter :-) Ich selbst habe auch etwas längere Haare und bin von der Bürste seit sie bei uns im Haushalt eingezogen ist total begeistert, da sie richtig gut durch die Haare gleitet. Wo knoten in den Haaren waren und mit diversen anderen Bürsten durch gebürstet wurde und es gezogen hat ist bei dieser Bürste kein verhaken und ziehen zu merken. Wobei, man auch sagen muß, was aber sehr sehr sehr selten ist, das es mal auch kurz schwer durch die Haare ging. Aber es war nie so ätzend wie mit einem Kamm oder anderen Bürste die sich dann verhakt haben und man das Gefühl hatte, daß man sich die ganze Kopfhaut ausreißt. Von mir daher klare Kaufempfehlung und 5 Sterne, besonders auch weil der Preis mal richtig okay und angemessen war für mein Empfinden.

It's effective! It doesn't pull on my hair at all. I've been very afraid to brush my hair because they got very brittle due to my thyroid issue. This is very comfortable and massages the scalp too . It's sealed well that I could also gently use in the shower to thoroughly apply conditioner and water wouldn't get inside. Typically after brushing my hair with my old brush, my hair still feels stuck together. This brush makes all the difference! My brushed hair with this brush feels so much smoother and healthier. I don't find an issue with the way it is held in the hand
