arrived promptly, easy to use, good amount of adjustment on the head band which is also elasticated in places for additional sizing and comfort. Has had an immediate effect on my dry eyes, which was a pleasant surprise and is much quicker and easier to use repeatedly during the day then other more traditional methods. I have been struggling with this condition for years and found the methods Doctors told me to use to be vey difficult to do but this is easy pop it in the microwave, providing you do have a microwave oven of course, for 30 seconds wear it for another 15 minutes till it goes cold and hey ho finished no messing about boiling water and buying cotton wool and ear cleaners, getting wet and uncomfortable or tidying up afterwards. If you do not have a microwave oven do not buy this as it can only be heated up in a microwave it cannot be done on the stove, under the grill or in a conventional oven nor with the use of a blowtorch, candles or cigarette lighter.

Have used it for a few days now - it heats up nicely in the microwave and fits securely on the head. Am continuing twice a day for a few more days as recommended to see if it improves the dry eyes . If it does it will be cost effective as one bottle of the drops I use cost the same price as the eye mask.

I work on a screen all day, and I was starting to have problems focusing. My optician diagnosed dry-eye syndrome (can't remember the fancy name for it!) and recommended that I use this mask once a day. I've now been doing that for about a year, and it's totally fixed my problem. For the first three or four months, I had to use eye drops too, but now just using the mask for ten minutes every morning means I can work without constantly blinking and trying to refocus. Excellent product!

Excellent product for people with dry eyes or Blepharitis

I bought this to replace a gel eye mask that ended splitting and thought I'd take a punt on this. I've only used it as handful of times do far, so can't comment on its longevity, but it seems to be well made. It only needs 30 seconds in the microwave and it stays warm enough for 10 minutes (it would definitely need rewarming past this though). It's really comfortable to wear and I can't recommend it enough.

Very skeptical about getting the mask but after reading the reviews I purchased it & haven’t regretted it. Holds the heat really well. Found it really beneficial.

Non vale certo come terapia risolutiva, e utilizzatelo solo dietro suggerimento medico (se soffrite di glaucoma o altri disturbi della pressione oculare il calore anche moderato è controindicato), ma usato regolarmente allevia i fastidi. Non superate i tempi di applicazione suggeriti. Un consiglio, utilizzate delle compressine di garza o tessuto non tessuto tra le palpebre e la maschera per prolungarne la durata e mantenerla pulita, è lavabile ma deve asciugare almeno 24h quindi meglio lavarla il meno possibile.

This really seems to get the tear ducts flowing. It takes some experimentation to get the heat right, and I found the warmer you get it the more results you get, but of course you don’t want to burn yourself. That’s where the experimentation comes in and a second or two in the microwave can make a bigger difference in heat than you might expect. Keep in mind I’m a guy so women should probably use extra caution since their skin might be more sensitive from all the bizarre compounds they’re constantly putting on their faces. My ophthalmologist recommended using it for two 5-minute treatments, reheating it after the first one. This was good advice because the compress cools too much by the time 10 minutes are up, as some reviewers have noted. Again, be careful about the heat. Warmer=better up to a point! Also be sure to go by the cleaning instructions on the tag. No immersion!

Da ich schon seit ein paar Jahren an chronischer Blepharitis leide und auch regelmäßig mit Gerstenkörnern zu kämpfen habe, habe ich nun wirklich schon einiges ausprobiert und versucht. Habe mich belesen und weitergebildet und bin über PubMed auf eine Studie gestoßen, in der dieses Produkt mit einem anderen verglichen wurde. Dabei schneidete die OPTASE Moist Heat Eye Mask am besten ab. Bereits vorher habe regelmäßig Trockenwärmebehandlungen mittels Rotlichtlampen durchgeführt, aber einer Meinung nach erhielt ich damit keinen wirklichen Erfolg. Erst durch diese Augenmaske habe ich zum ersten Mal das Gefühl, dass die Symptome gelindert wurden (mit paralleler Lidrandpflege.) Nach knapp 2 Monaten Anwendung hat sich erst ein neues Gerstenkorn gebildet, was für mich schon erfolgsvorsprechend ist, da ich eigentlich permanent an irgendeiner neuen Drüse eins besaß. Daher kann ich dieses Produkt mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Auf die Lidrandhygiene sollte trotzdem auch geachtet werden. Zur Anwendung: Die Augenmaske für 25 Sekunden in die Mikrowelle bei höchster Wattzahl und danach 10 Minuten auf die Augen legen. Der Klettverschluss zur Befestigung finde ich auch sehr praktisch. Fazit: 5 Sterne völlig verdient!
