Yes I would say so but you have to take into account that there are few if any instructions that come with the tank.

Are the fans on all the time if so mine has never worked

Fans should be on all the time.

Is this a good tank what does it come with to start off a marine aqurium

It's totally self contained you need to add sand and live rock let it all mature for approximately 1 month then you can add your fish.

Boyu lid electrics

Lovely tank, cr*p lid. Complete day lighting, one of two cooling fan units and night led light unit have all failed, unfortunately just after guarantee expired. New complete lid costs in the region of £130. I would never buy a lidded reef tank again.
