Faultless for the price!
Bought this to replace a ยฃ250 hutch I bought last year and have hated ever since. This was easier to assemble, had all the right screws and all the holes were perfectly aligned. The wood looks and feels great and the overall hutch is sturdy enough that we were able to carry it without worry. I ordered on Thursday and it was delivered Saturday. I have two mini rex rabbits in it and it's big enough for them, like other reviews mention just check the description for accurate measurements as the pictures make it look larger than it is. My boys are happy in this immediately! I don't know how it will last but as it seems better quality than my last hutch, which is fine at over a year old, I suspect it will be okay if I take precautions in the rain.

Briliant value for money
So pleased with this coop and run. Easily put together and my 4 ex battery hens find it comfortable to live in. There were only 2 slight niggles and these will mostly be of interest to those, like me, who have no DIY skills whatsoever. 1st, the gap in the run door through which the pop hole puller runs didn't line up. This was solved by a friendly neighbour with a saw. The 2nd niggle is that, having put the coop into first use during very wet weather the side door to the house (the one with the window in it) is sticking a bit. This isn't a major issue as I tend to lift the coop lid for access. I'm hoping that the door will unstick itself after it has been baked and soaked a few times. If not then the addition of a door knob should be enough to sort this problem out. Excellent supplier, very, very pleased with both product and service. Update in July 2014: I still love this coop, in the years since I bought it I've increased my flock and bought other runs and houses. This is now in use as a broody/chick/ isolation pen and is still as great condition. Similar runs have not been as strong or as easy to clean and maintain as this one. Well worth every penny.

the little windowed door on the front is really handy to have as well as looking really nice too. Good quality wood and really good value ...
This coop is really lovely. We put 3 silkie chickens (smaller breed) in there, and are thinking of getting another 1 or 2 as there is plenty of room left. Couldn't have been easier to put together, although one of the door bolts were broken so we are currently using a piece of string to keep the door shut until we can get another one. The door hook makes closing up at night easier (you can just push it from the outside of the cage without having to open the doors), the little windowed door on the front is really handy to have as well as looking really nice too. Good quality wood and really good value for money in all. Would 100% recommend.

Our rabbits love their new home x
Well where do I start, the coop arrived earlier than expected and then things just get better and better. It took me and my mum a few hours to put together. The instructions were laid out well and were easy to follow, this made putting it together really easy. Once assembled it was time to move our two rabbits, Daryl and Negan, into their new home. They hopped in straight away and were soon investigating their new surroundings. They loved the place, it is so much more spacious than their previous cage. It wasn't long before they were dashing around chasing each other, before snuggling up in the cosy boxed in area. I have added some tarpaulin to the back and sides just to give them some added protection on windy/rainy days. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a spacious home for their bunnies at a great price x

Fits 3 Medium size chickens
The coops can only fit 3 medium sized chickens as one of the perch is very close to the window and the chickens cannot use it. I would recommend to paint the panels with some water based wood paint/preserver so it does not get mouldy when wet also get a bitumen roof sheet and put on top of it to stop the cage from getting wet. Its almost 6 months and the cage is ok with these 2 additions, I will give an extra star if there are no problems after the winter. Sturdiness could be better and the only disappointment.

EXTREMELY Disappointed
The image that is shown of this product is extremely misleading. We wouldn't even put one chicken in there let alone the recommended four. There are huge gaps between all the joints even with expert help from my father-in-law who is an engineer, helping to put it together. Its overall structure is very flimsy and frail, when we screwed the provided nails in (which were too short) the wood split. The size is awful, like i mentioned earlier one chicken would have been cramp. Luckily we had an old guinea pig run which we extended onto it, to try and give the chickens more space or rather just space. On the first day of having our chickens the ramp had broken (much to their surprise!). After 3 days of our AVERAGE sized chickens laying in the nesting box, the wood had split and the screws had fallen out, making the box come away from the main structure. Do NOT buy this coop unless you want the hassle of having to spent a further couple of days making it bigger, having to constantly repair it, to keep it habitable or just enjoy unpacking something that on a picture looks enormous when in actual fact is tiny. VERY disappointed, not fit for purpose. To be honest its a scam. This 'coop' is not worth a penny now we have to try and find a new hutch that is actually decent and worth the money. Enjoy your chickens! They are very rewarding and loving with the right house :) Ours do seem to like to be held and be away from their 'coop' which won't be there much longer whether thats due to it completely falling apart - wouldn't be surprised! :D or just because we put it in the bin... Wouldn't even give it one star but thats not an option...

Tried and tested review
I purchased this chicken coop on May 2014- it is now 6 months on; I wanted to wait a few months until it had been thoroughly used and tested before I gave my `customer report'. I'm pleased to report it was a great buy. Very good value for money, sturdy, practical and fit for purpose. I adopted three rescue hens and researched various chicken coops; each claiming some unique selling point - some cheaper and some more expensive. This coop will comfortably suit four hens (I have Rhode Island Reds) and they are medium to large size hens.(they sleep in the coop at night and roam our garden during the day) The coop arrived as stated; flat packed in two large boxes. The instructions were easy to follow and within just over one hour my coop was built. The entire coop was sturdy enough for my husband and me, to lift it onto three concrete paving slabs. Our three hens took to the coop immediately. We removed the centre nest box divider because our hens prefer to huddle at night. During the summer we removed the perch and laid hay on the galvanised metal pull-out tray for the hens to stretch out a bit more - which they love. In the summer we left the sliding door open - but didn't have to worry about predators as we closed and locked the main door. Now we're moving into winter we close the sliding door and leave the two air holes open for fresh air. We were hit by Red Mite (those notorious critters that can plague the cleanest hen house). Eradicating it took time but was made easy by the coop's construction. We removed the tray and the square planking underneath (easy as they're designed to easily be removed for cleaning). Plus we pulled out the base of the nest boxes. We decided to use table salt by spreading it on all bases and along all crevices. This was repeated every week for a month. Whilst the salt corroded some of the screws and a little of the metal tray - it worked - no more Red Mite. It was easy to clean and keep clean - so important for healthy and happy hens. We have had some extreme weather and our coop has withstood the strongest winds and the heaviest downpours and it still looks great. The wood enables the coop to weather and dry naturally. The only suggestion I would offer is to have larger screws for the nest box hinges; as ours gave up after our children opened the nest box many times a day checking for eggs. My husband replaced them cheaply and effectively.

Well made product, fast delivery but not suitable for larger birds.
Really pleased with this product! Arrived much earlier than expected and well packaged. Little disappointed with the cost of delivery but after researching the best coops on amazon for an evening, I kept returning to this one regardless. Easy to put together and good quality apart from the lock which didn't work at all and would have been too flimsy anyway. Easily fixed with a ยฃ1 lock from Wilkos instead. House section is actually a bit too roomy for my two bantams but they love it!! Would not recommend as a coop for keeping chickens in for a long period of time however. I purchased this as a house for my two newest additions who have been very much bullied by the rest of the family. They now have their own space to sleep and a place they can call home when the big girls are out in the allotment. Definitely recommend the product but not for keeping birds in for longer time periods. 4/5 stars because of the delivery cost and the lock issue.
