I kept forgetting to turn on my heated hose/bib for my outdoor water faucet. this automated the process saving me money from damage on multiple occasions making this a low cost value. plug and play useability that just works. at around ~36 degrees it automatically turns on and the light gives you a visual that it is on and working!

Bought this for a chicken coop to turn the heaters on. Temperature dropped below freezing, and this plug still didn’t turn on. The circuit board in this plug will keep the plug 10 degreees warmer than ambient temp, so it won’t turn on until well below freezing. Junk.

I use this to turn some accessories for my birds on and off. I have a bird feeder, a hummingbird feeder, and a birdbath on my outside deck. I have heaters for the hummingbird feeder and birdbath, and this thingy reliably turns the heaters on and off depending on the outside temperature, keeping the birds fed and watered all winter long. We have a large above ground fish tank so to speak outside. We typically run one or two heaters to keep the top open with aerators on the bottom. This worked very well to turn them on.

Worked great AFTER i put it in the freezer to cold soak it. After that I plugged it in. Before that nada. Works great now!!!

Not as accurate as a Swiss watch but it is doing its job as designed. The thermostat turns on the power around freezing mark and turns it off slightly above the freezing temperature. It keeps my outdoor pets happy. The heated drinking water bowl does not freeze and the heating pad will stay warm overnight when the temperature goes down.

Bought this last winter for my pump house heater. I have a small space heater to keep my water from freezing. Sometimes I forgot to change my timer or it would be on longer than it needed to be. This was perfect for my needs. Worked all winter in Alberta.
