Galt Activity Pack Fab Foil Art Craft Kit

I got this Foil Art set for my nine year old arts and crafts mad daughter and it's fair to say it's been a massive hit with her. In the box you get 8 pictures measuring 18cm x12.5cm. Pictures are: Dog Owl Robot Spaceship Tiger Flowers Dolphin Flamingo You also get 25 foil sheets to colour the pictures with. These measure just short of 10cm square. You get 8 different colours which are: Gold Silver Rainbow Blue Green Purple Pink Red It's really simple to do, just peel the sticky parts off the picture, lay your choice of foil over the sticky bit, press down and then peel back the sheet and your chosen colour will be left in place. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed making these pictures. It's easy enough for her to do on her own but also a great, fun activity to do together. At first I was expecting the foil sheets to be a bit like the gold leaf sheets that I've used myself when crafting but they're far less messy than that. these foil sheets stay in one piece after use which is fabulous. I did have to explain to my daughter how to get the most out of each sheet by using around the edges first and close together to minimise waste and make sure we have enough to do all of the pictures. The foil sticks well though, looks good when complete, and my daughter was very impressed with her creations. This set is also great in that it lasts a while since it takes a good amount of time to complete the pictures. My daughter has been doing one a day so far. Overall for what's in the box and the total amount of time it keeps my daughter occupied for, it's been fantastic value, and it's nice to have something to do that holds her interest on a rainy day. I'm really impressed with this little kit and if you have a child that loves a bit of arts and craft I would definitely recommend it.

Bought as a gift for a birthday for 4 year old the kids loved these foil art toys and they seem to keep them occupied for a while. I think they’re great gifts and good for the cost.

This is a great product, no mess - easy to use for the most part and the product looks great. However, although initially it looks like there's lots of foils included, they more or less covered 6 our of 8 photos. You'd have to use the foils very precisely to make them stretch! But great value for price and activity!

Awesome mess free craft for any child Keeps them busy for hours

This was up to usual Galt standard and was a good quality craft item for children. The pictures it produced were quite striking without being difficult to do and the children ended up hanging them from a cord across the wall.

Not at all what I was expecting, but good (relatively) clean fun. I got this on a warehouse deal and it was just the box that was a little dented. The concept is really simple, there are sheets of stickers, that have been kiss-cut in certain shapes such as a robot and a flowerpot. You peel parts of the backing away which exposes the sticky surface, and when you press the lightweight foil sheets against them and the coloured patterns peel away and stick to the design. It's a lot less mess than I expected, which is good. The main bit of tidying up needed at the end is just picking up the non-sticky tabs that you've removed to expose the adhesive, easy stuff. A note of caution though, we had a couple of mishaps at first where we were peeling off the entire sticky layer aswell as the removable piece, you have to be quite careful to only get the very top layer as the whole thing peels away quite easily, once you suss it out though it's easy to repeat. The wide range of foil colours and effects leaves room for creativity too, it's a good balance between clean fun and creativity.

Lovely foill art set but thought it was too expensive so returned it.

Kids love this and it keeps them busy for a long time. Creates a lot of trash so I wouldn’t call it mess free, but it’s easy to clean up.
