I've tried just about every type of litter out there and finally landed on this one based on Reddit comments. This one kept popping up as people's favorite. I was skeptical bc everything I tried was a fail. My cat pees like racehorse, bucketfuls 😭🤦‍♀️ Any type of clumping litter either turned to cement and I couldn't scrape it out of the stainless steel box, or it would crumble, making scooping a time consuming chore. Also, everything stunk so bad, and tracked all over the bathroom and hallway, even with a tracking mat. The best scooping litter I found that didn't stick to the box and scooped like a dream was Slide by arm & hammer, but the smell of that litter made me gag! I couldn't wait to dump it and get something different. Tried Dr. Elsey's (cement glue). Tried a myriad of others. Anyway, tried Pidon with trepidation bc I assumed it would be another issue, like maybe the cat wouldn't like it. I did do a gradual mix to get him used to the texture, but now I'm finally using it on its own and I'm so relieved 😮‍💨 finally found a litter that: 1. Smells pleasant (really!!!) 2. Doesn't track 3. No dust 4. Clumps nicely like cookie dough and doesn't crumble or stick to anything. 5. Can be flushed, although I'm a renter and don't want to take any chances with blocked pipes, so I use the Litter Zero (love it!). 6. No cat litter smell. Really! I don't smell anything and I'm really sensitive to odors! 7. No risk of toxicity to pets like with clay litters. It may or may not work for you, but I wish I would have saved myself the hassle and gotten this months ago 🤦‍♀️ it would have saved me so much time and frustration.

This is amazing! There is very little dust, rarely any tracking (my cats have very fuzzy feet) and my sensitive cat uses it! It clumps with urine very well (cat hasn’t used it for BM yet) and I would recommend a stainless steel box for ease of scraping as it does stick to the box. It does have an odor and I’m very sensitive to odors, but it smells of coconut and vanilla and not too strongly (I like it). I scoop twice a day and use a litter genie, so I’ve not noted any urine odors. It’s extremely lightweight and it lasts a good while if you make sure to vigorously shake it on the (large holes only) scoop and get the loose and unused pellets back in the box. Some parts may break off, but are easily retrieveable. This was my first journey with something other than clay litter (they rejected pine pellets- so dusty!) and I couldn’t be more pleased.

I have tried a lot and I mean a LOT of non-clay cat litters. Pretty much anything that can be made into litter, I've tried it at least once. I have a favorite litter but the company went out of business years ago. Since its not likely to ever come back, this is now my top choice for litter. My previous top choice, Okocat, hit all the marks but the quality of it changed so the amount of dust and tracking became untenable. After a lot (a LOT) of searching, I came across this and decided to try it. I'm so glad I did! First off, though this is pellets, it's not large pellets like other brands. That makes it acceptable to our cats who hate the larger pellets. It takes a little more effort to shake the unused litter through the scoop, but not that much more than other litters. I recommend a scoop with larger holes. And because it's pellets that are larger than other litter particles, it cuts way down on tracking. I have to sweep around the litter box every other day and once in a while I'll find a pellet tracked into the living room but it's a far cry from my socks picking up sawdust all over the house or thick layers of pine or walnut dust covering everything near the litterboxes. The pellets can get crushed or break apart but any dust as a result is so minimal I have yet to notice after a year of using this litter. Our calico has allergies and this litter doesn't aggravate her sinuses at all, unlike dustier litters we've tried. It clumps urine VERY well. There is some breaking apart that happens but no more than other litters I've tried. It doesn't clump to feces as well but it does desiccate them enough that I don't have a big mess when the Manx decides to eat something she's not supposed to and then has...unfortunate bowel issues as a result. The litter is unscented so there's not much of a smell. When it's first opened, it has a smell that sometimes is like sweetened condensed milk, sometimes like vanilla, it's always a bit different depending on the batch, I assume. It's never unpleasant. It also keeps the cat box smell away to the point we never smell urine and only poo if the Manx has had a particularly smelly session. Once it's covered, the smell dissipates quickly. That being said, there CAN be a smell akin to old cabbage. However, that's only happened if the litter didn't get scooped in a timely manner, I got lazy and the Litter Genie got overfull, or it was a past time to change the litter and clean the boxes. And that is the only thing I would caution when it comes to whether you choose this litter. If you can't scoop every day, if you don't have a Litter Genie or disposable bags you can take out every time you scoop, then this is not the litter for you because you will have that smell of old cabbage or fermenting cruciferous vegetables. We have three high-sided jumbo litter boxes, open top, not enclosed. Two boxes get one and a half bags of litter, the third gets two bags. I scoop each box every evening, takes less than five minutes. The waste goes into a Litter Genie that I usually remember to empty weekly. Once a month I empty out the litter and scrub the boxes, then replace with fresh litter. And we have no cat smell in the house. I am perpetually paranoid that there's a smell thanks to previous experiences with other litters but so far there's been no complaints. One of our neighbors even said "I don't mean to offend you, but why does your house not smell like cats?" so I consider that a good indication that this litter and our setup is working. My one complaint is that the urine clump can stick a bit to the bottom of the box, but it comes up easily with a quick scrape and always comes off when I do the monthly box scrub. And really, I had that same issue with other litters, especially clay, so it's barely an issue. I have not had any issues with the litter turning to sludge, though I can see how that could happen if the box wasn't scooped regularly.

LOVEEEEE this litter!!!!! Best litter I have ever tried. It is a bit pricy, but so worth it. My only complaint is that the coconut smell is way too strong at first to the point where I hate it.. BUTTT I have never in my life found a litter that covers up the absolute horrible smell of cat pee and poop like this does!! The coconut smell is really strong when first opened and for a few days, but after the cat has used it some it just don’t have much of a smell at all which is amazing!!! Cat pee and poop isn’t stinking up my bathroom anymore. There’s basically no dust and it scoops out great without wasting much product, even after it’s been used a bunch. Lastly it barely tracks through the floor unlike regular little that gets EVERYWHERE!! I use 2 bags in my extra large stainless steel litter box and it last a while

I have tried clay litter, extra clumping litter, easy “non stick” litter. Litter that claims it’s dust free. I’ve tried organic corn litter because it claimed it was dust free and hey it’s organic so it would be better for the cats right? Dusty!!! And sooooo much tracking. Dusty little paw prints up and down the hallway. Went briefly back to clay looking for something else. Came across pine pellets. Not going to lie they work after you figure out how to “sift”. You cannot beat the cost. Cheapest cat litter. I have cats that will play with anything and the pellets become toys to fling out of the box. Ever step on a pine pellet with bare feet? No fun. But I stuck with the pine pellets because they work and they were great for the budget. Minimal dust. No ammonia smell whatsoever. Just a pine, woodsy scent mixed with the scent of cat poo. Oh yeah! Good times! My cats have gotten older and their paws apparently grew sensitive. So instead of stepping onto the hard pellets in their boxes to do their business, they found alternate ways of doing their business. Some would perch on the edge of the box therefore tipping the box and its lovely contents onto the floor. Others just said I don’t think so and went outside the box. Right outside the box. Basically letting me know, Hey! Hooman! This litter sucks!! Enter Pidan Tofu litter!! My cats love this stuff! I didn’t even have to transition them over! I dumped one box of pellets and replaced it with the Pidan just to see which they would use. They chose the Pidan tofu litter. This litter is easy to clean. Clumps very well. I clean the litter boxes twice a day. Once before work and once after I get back home. Takes me less than 5 minutes to get every box. I have one bag in every box. I haven’t had to add any litter just take out what’s been used with scooping. One bag lasts about two weeks with multiple cats. I have four cats using three boxes because they’ve grown up together and have no qualms about using the same toilet if it is cleaned. And it actuality they are only using two of the boxes now. I have a litter box of tofu litter that’s been used twice. So it’s there as backup if needed. I can’t really say enough about this litter. It’s just that awesome! Virtually no tracking. Just some small itsy bitsy random pellet. If you’ve been on the litter journey and have grown tired of all the b.s. and are looking for something different, something wonderful (especially after non clumping pine pellets), then get off the dusty tracking litter trail and try the Pidan Tofu Litter. It might not be for you but it’s worth it to at least give it a shot.

First 24 hours using tofu litter. Let me start by saying, it’s worth every penny! The bag is small and I need 1.5 bags to fill my large stainless litter box pan, but the pros outweigh the cons here. I switched from a popular brand’s Naturals Clumping Litter with Corn Fibers, which I had loyally used for 5 years after trial and error because I didn’t think it could get better than that. I was wrong. pidan Tofu Litter PROS: The litter by itself smells good. Not just tolerable, but good. It has a very light clean scent almost like green tea, but not in an overbearing or artificial way. It’s not dusty at all. The bottom of the pan has some dust, but it doesn’t leave the pan. When pouring in the litter initially there is no dust, no cloud. It clumps very well and doesn’t waste litter, when scooping the pee it didn’t fall apart or dirty the rest of the litter, nor did it smell. It also didn’t stick to the pan. The litter oddly did not stick to the poop at all, but the poop was completely covered and hidden (with previous litter my cat didn’t always cover it completely) and there was absolutely no smell when scooping nor immediately after my cat left the litter box. I do use an enclosed litter box, but previously I could smell when he had just used the bathroom with other litter. Very very very minimal tracking, and the tracking is just 1-2 pieces of the litter that is comparable to a large grain of rice. As opposed to dust and many small grains of litter that was comparable to salt. My cats paws are free of debris and do not smell like litter, nor does he leave dusty foot prints anywhere. I consider myself a very clean cat owner and I’ve been told before that my litter box was undetectable, which was to my surprise, but now I can confidently say it’s undetectable.

This litter is great for cats with respiratory issues and allergies. It is literally dust free. I didn't realize how bad the dust from clay litter was until I switched to this. My TV stand and coffee table would have a thick layer of dust a day after dusting, now I only have to once a week (just from living in a dusty place). My cat is breathing better and so are we. This litter barely tracks which is so nice. You'll want to wait to scoop until their urine solidifies, and sometimes their pee patties get stuck to the bottom of the box (I'd recommend getting a stainless steel box). It's not a big deal though, it's easy to scrape off. It does take a bit longer to clean, especially if you have a regular scooper like I do. Takes longer for the tofu pellets to sift through the slots and sometimes pieces break off of the patties. I take the time once a day to get the little pieces, just to be on the safe side. But it clumps really well to urine, and I know it bothers some people but it doesn't stick to solid poop. I was worried my cats would try to eat the litter or would be put off by the texture but they took to it immediately and did not eat it. As many mentioned, it is pricey. For me, I can't put a price on my cats' health. I have a large litter box, it took 3 bags to fill it up adequately but 4 would have been optimal. Odor control is great but YMMV depending on your cats diet. After I scoop all their waste out it actually smells kinda fresh again lol. The litter has a light vanilla scent. I HIGHLY recommend this litter, it's awesome. If you live in a humid or wet place, you'll want to be very diligent about sifting 2-3x daily. It is a natural litter so it's prone to mold if moisture sits around too long. Just keep an eye on it and your babies will be fine!

This is incredible stuff!!! ABSOLUTELY NO DUST!!! The grains are a bit like rice and my cat uses it happily, even though our former litters were sand texture. There is a very subtle fragrance that reminds me of my best coconut candle, it completely neutralized any trace of the smell of cat urine. It clumps and is easy to scoop. It is environmentally friendly! This is the very best invention for cat owners! ZERO DUST!!!!

I’ve been using this cat litter for a few years now. With multiple cats it’s important for me to have litter that is dust free. This one isn’t totally dust free but it is the closest I have come and it doesn’t track which is a bonus. I will continue to use and highly recommend.

doesn't smell and the litter itself smells good and doesn't make the floor dirty also doesn't track as much around the house compared to clay litter so the bathroom floor where their litter is stays cleaner for longer 10/10 recommend especially if you're in a small space that is hard to keep clean wish it wasn't so expensive tho

This is the best I’ve used. We ran out and I went back to the old stuff we had in the cupboard and the contrast was huge. Harley any tracking and great very tidy clumping. Cats adjusted easily too.

Ich habe schon unzählige Katzenstreus ausprobiert, aber diese hier hat mich wirklich überzeugt. Das Beste: kaum Staub. Beim Einfüllen staubt nichts, und auch rund um das Katzenklo bleibt alles viel sauberer. Meine Katze niest sonst schnell – seit wir diese Streu benutzen, ist damit Schluss. Die Klumpen bilden sich schnell und sind richtig fest, kleben aber nicht am Boden fest. Das Saubermachen geht dadurch super schnell. Auch Gerüche werden sehr gut gebunden, selbst wenn das Klo mal einen Tag länger steht. Ja, sie ist etwas teurer als Standard-Streu aus dem Supermarkt, aber sie hält länger und die Qualität ist einfach besser. Ich habe sie schon wieder nachbestellt. Für mich definitiv die beste Streu bisher – klare Empfehlung!
