Liver Health Supplement for Medium Dogs - Milk Thistle for Dogs Liver Support with S-Adenosylmethionine (Same) & Silybin - 30 Tablets

We were giving our senior pitbull a lover supplement that is brand name and cost about $76 and it just wasn't sustainable for our family to continue to have to pay that. So I did the research. This actually has the same ingredients but at a much more reasonable price and it's easier for her to absorb! Perhaps it's the form the tablet comes in but either way she takes it no problem and there isn't a battle each time. Actually she gets excited for her medicine time because of it!

I have had my 14 year old dog on this for about a year. Better than Denamarin, which is so much more expensive! I can crush these easily and add to my fussy dogs food (not even pill pockets work). My vet said her liver numbers are back to normal range and they have been on the high side for 5 years before that. This is on our monthly subscription. Great product!

We have 3 dogs that take this for their elevated liver enzymes….they were taking the product that the vets always recommend (that is WAY more expensive). With this you don’t have to wait an hour to feed them afterwards and the results are incredible. They ALL have their enzymes in the normal range now, and one dog also has Cushings…poor guy has the deck stacked against him, but he is doing great! I told our vet about this product and showed them the information online and they said it looks every bit as good or better than the product they usually recommend that starts with a “D”….I can’t recommend this product enough, it is excellent.

My dog’s, who has CHF, GGT level was elevated so the dog recommended her to take Denamarin and Hepato Support for 3 months and to recheck labs. I saw the reviews on this supplement so I decided to try it. She has absolutely no symptoms while on it for 3 months and her labs returned to normal. I highly recommend :$

My senior dog takes many pills. I thought one less would be great. I’ve cooked for her for 5 years for her liver disease. Takes dasaquin prior to trying this. But, after grinding it to put in her morning food, she really isn’t excited about the taste which she eats every morning with gusto. She won’t finish it all so that means not a full dosage. I guess I will have to give as a pill and then go back to dasaquin. Seems like the price is great and it can be given anytime which is wonderful especially if they take multiple pills that need spaced. Just didn’t work for my 16 year old. I think chewing would be difficult. She has all her teeth but when I use the mortar to crush it takes some work, which I know she wouldn’t like.

Update: I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 because the seller reached out and refunded me. Any seller who is willing to take care of their customers is worth giving another chance to, in my book!!My dog's blood work showed elevated liver numbers. The vet recommended another name brand that is too expensive, not that this one is much cheaper. The vet said to have him on this one for 1-2 months consistently before rechecking his blood work again to see if it was helping. When the rechecked blood work came back, this supplement did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! In fact, his numbers increased. What a waste of money!

I love this product. My poodle has 16 years and some vesicular problems, but this product helped him a lot
