Have been using this pair of secs for 7 years now, and they are fantastic. I sharpen them a lot, but that is just through use, and I abuse them a lot by using them on branches they shouldn't be cutting. If you have a strong grip, these will cut through anything you can fit in its jaws. I don't advise that, but they will do it. Much better than paying a paltry amount for worthless secateurs, push the boat out, and these will last forever.

A strong reliable secateur, have used this model for 15 years since I broke a righthand finger, before that I used the right handed rolling handle model . I find I can use these in either hand , a great help when up a ladder, spare blades can also be obtained if needed. Though expensive for a secateur they last & wear well so cheaper in the long run. I have used both models for commercial cutting & would never buy any other make

They are large so can cut more than any other secateurs and these are specifically made for Left Handers. Top quality and worth the premium price tag. You get what you pay for so when you want the best forget the rest.

Good quality, useful for weaker grips. Can be used one or two handed.

This is the best pair of secateurs I have ever held, and that is in my right hand! I bought this for my left handed wife; it is solid, well crafted, well balanced, and built to cut, snip, and prune for a lifetime. It was delivered within 48 hours, which for a cross channel standard delivery is very good. If you are sick of tools that don't indicate where they are made, which invariably means some Chinese slave shop, and are still fairly pricey, then pay just a bit extra for this Swiss made piece of precision engineering, and you will never regret it.

I use these secateurs professionally for pruning trees and shrubs. This new pair was bought to replace the same pair bought about twenty years ago, which have been in regular use and still give superb service despite looking a bit weather- beaten! I think this speaks for itself; there are plenty of cheaper secateurs available but, in my experience, none better than Felco. They are bypass pruners, best suited to pruning live wood, and this model has one longer handle which gives one the option of using two hands to apply greater pressure when cutting thicker or harder wood. Spare parts are available too, although I've only needed to get the occasional replacement spring usually caused by my own neglect. They are beautifully designed, effective and comfortable for repeated use. The plastic covers on the handles of my old pair have worn and chipped, causing some discomfort during a long pruning session, so I felt that after twenty years of work they deserved a rest - hence the new pair! I must own at least twenty pairs of secateurs of various makes and quality, but Felco are always my first choice.

This replaces a pair I lost. I’m a professional and for me these are the best secateurs available. I’ve spoken to other gardeners and they agree. Just one thing. You do have to have large hands to make them work for you. It says use with 2 hands. I cannot see that working. If though you have large enough hands, these are like a pair of loppers in your hands. They will go through things you thought you needed a saw for.

I am left handed and, although I can manage with right handed equipment, it is good to have something designed for left handed use. These secateurs are a good solid item, razor sharp and work beautifully. They give a clean cut without crushing and are exactly what I wanted. They are not cheap but the engineering quality seems superb and I see that I can get a sharpener should this become necessary.
