Very good book that gives the rules for many different card Games

This book is great to remind you how to play card games you have forgotten and how to learn completely new ones. It is graded by difficulty and type of games - suits/number of players etc The instructions are lengthy when needed but easy to follow and understand. We simply started at the beginning of the book and are working our way through. Most games we love, one or two aren't to our taste but who cares there are so many to choose from. You will easily find a few games to entertain all ages and abilities within this book.

I enjoyed reading it and discovering new card games

I wanted to play some card games as a family since a pack of cards is so versatile and easy to take with you anywhere. However, when we tried playing as a family, we argued over the rules and different websites have different rules. So I bought this book and it's brilliant. The games are explained clearly and the rules laid out so we can just enjoy playing card games together instead of arguing about the rules! I would highly recommend this book. There are lots of different card games and they are organised well in the book.

How do you write a book of card games with no poker in it?

I have many books on cards, paper and kindle, big and slim; but this one is by far the clearest and interesting pf all. Others can have more games but are repetitive or too complex, others on the other hand have poor explanation and no drawings to help. This one is a perfect balance of them all. This book is all you need really.

This is an excellent book, well set out with easy to follow instructions. We played basic rummy to start and within minutes were playing. Not sure I relish the reference to “she” all the time but the only really bad thing about it is I lost! Very Highly recommended. Just buy it you wont be disappointed. J

Bought this during Covid lock down and it provided new ideas on passing time indoors with the family

Loving this book. It has a pretty decent variety of card games and it describes them in simple terms with attractive visuals. Its also light enough for me to bring along on my trips :)

A great choice for youngsters and adults. Lots of family fun to be had by using these card games.

Just finished trying three new card games with a friend. The instructions from this book were thorough and clear. The games were sorted by type and level of difficulty, plus labeled by number of players so it was easy to find appropriate games. Very pleased with the purchase.

The guide made these games incredibly easy to learn and follow.
