If I have one criticism it is to do with the mode of fixing it to the ceiling. Using a paper template you mark positions for the two screws on the ceiling, drill the holes and put the screws in. The detector has two slots on the back to locate onto the two screws. Sounds easy. However if you get either of the two holes more than 1mm off target them you've got a problem as you can't fix push the detector onto the screws. I bought two of these detectors. The first went up perfectly and the second didn't! I have used CO (and smoke detectors) in the past that were better designed in this respect.
