Great for Rc hobbiest
This set comes with everything you'll need to shorten or lengthen wires!! Used the kit for some R/C wires and the crimper worked great!! Even came with instructions to use the crimper!!

Good but not great kit, could use better instructions
Pretty complete kit. I used it to replace connectors on older RC servos. Since servos had 24AWG wire, I had to strip the wire twice as long as needed and fold back the wire to provide adequate crimp retention. Pros: 1) Crimps well on 22AWG wire supplied with the kit with good wire retention. 2) The addition of fine point tweezers in the kit is a nice touch and helps to insert contacts 3) Good assortment of housings and contacts Negatives: 1) Difficult to locate terminal in the crimp jaws and no instructions on where the terminal needs to be located in the jaws. If too far back, the receptacle can be smashed, if too far forward, the wire strain relief is smashed by the wire crimp portion of the tool. Professional quality crimp tools have a terminal locator/wire stop in the crimp jaws that indexes off the wire crimp barrel. 2) No details on what the wire strip length needs to be. This is critical and should be in the instruction sheet. 3) No instructions on how to adjust crimp tool for tighter crimps. Small toothed wheel with a locator screw on left side of tool is used to increase/decrease crimp 4) No details on how to adjust the tool for wire gauges smaller than 22AWG, if at all possible.

Surprisingly good
I was really surprised how good quality the crimpers are. Did my first repair on one of my esc's. worked perfectly. You have to pre pinch the pin tabs before it goes in the crimpers but not a big deal.

Great value!!
Great value!! The tool it comes with feels and is, Super heavy duty!! The wire it comes with is decent. Worth the price 100% if you need a crumper and jst jr connectors.

Steep learning curve
Steep leaning curve. Definitely low quality materials. Be prepared to follow up every crimp with another pair of pliers to get the connectors tight to the wire.
