Funny read
I bought this book for my father for Christmas due to his imminent retirement and lack of plans! At this point in time he would rather ignore the fact he's retiring so has not got round to reading the book. However, my mother and I both read it and found it very amusing and pack with ideas for an enjoyable retirement. Perhaps targeted more towards women.

A great place to start.
If like me you have given little consideration to your retirement plans, then being able to pick up a concise guide - of well formed ideas, is a great start. I like the positive aspect of the book - by purchasing it - you are asserting a very positive thought into your subconscious mind which will hopefully ensure that whatever bucket list you create - will be completed. Have fun - and lots of it.

Fun stocking filler
Bought as a Xmas present for my sister. Bit of fun, but also some good ideas for those not sure what they might do in retirement. Common sense really though!

Das Buch „101 Things to Do in Retirement“ war ein Geschenk für einen Kollegen , und ich habe es auch relativ schnell durchgeschaut. Es enthält eine Mischung aus verschiedenen Ideen, wie man seine Zeit im Ruhestand gestalten kann. Einige Vorschläge sind witzig und inspirierend und bringen einen zum Schmunzeln oder auf neue Gedanken. Allerdings sind viele Ideen eher einfach gehalten und nicht besonders außergewöhnlich oder überraschend. Insgesamt ist es ein nettes Buch mit ein paar guten Anregungen, aber meiner Meinung nach nicht überragend. Trotzdem eignet es sich gut als Geschenk oder als leichte, unterhaltsame Lektüre für zwischendurch.
