Good
Brought for my nan. She said they are really well made and very sturdy and the price was really good as well. They were a lot larger than she had expected though. As originally brought for sweet peas to climb in her garden. They don't come with instructions but are easy to put together.

Self Assembly Needed.
Metal Garden Obelisk Climbing Plant 1.9m (Colour: Black, Shape: Rounded)Self-assembly required.Parts are packaged and labelled. One basic pictogram included for construction but still needs a bit of working out.Screws and nuts provided, but no spanner for tightening these. (No spares either.)Some parts were very slightly miss-shaped, but a bit of extra pushing got them together.I bought two of these and put them both together in about half an hour with no rushing.Light weight once put together.Pushed into the ground fairly well, pointed bottom spikes might have made this easier.Quite basic, does the job and good value for money.

Not bad for the price I bought.
The item is very easy to assemble.its made of metal unsure if rust free. For the price that I bought it is good quality already. The downfall is the 2 legs are wobbly even if it's tighten well. I put it deeper to the ground for more support.

Gardening for entertainment value?
I ordered three of these for climbing veg, namely mange tout and fine beans. I got all three boxes sealed and at the same time. No issue there.I assembled one on my own, tightening the bolts and nuts finger tight, just in case I messed up somewhere, and sure enough I did. Could not undo - which you know - is actually reassuring that the whole thing wont come apart in a stiff breeze. My husband loosened my mistake and off to the races we went again, this time together - to you know... speed things up. And have me curse a lot less - not the products fault that I curse, it's just par for the course when I assemble things. It's how you know it's working!Box two did not have all of the pieces. -.- I was missing 4 strips that would have secured the bottom level. I had the feet, no wrung. Had the screws and nuts... but that's it. "No big deal," I say to myself, I don't want to cast a shadow anyway, so having one short one is no big deal. I jsut wanted to be done with the assembly which took a total of 30-mins - so really no big deal.I surprised at how warped the structure was by the time we finished. I mean the legs are straight, but the whole frame is twisted, likely because the holes in the strips forces the whole structure to conform to it's constraints. Which is fine. that adds stability... usually, unless the strips holes are placed in uneven places which leads to tightening and twisting the structure in such a way that I'll be very surprised to see if this thing survives the summer. For now the solution is to drive the structure in deep into the soil (only problem on my end is that the soil is very compact and doesn't want to cooperate. I'll get my husband to shovel the area up so I can get the depth I want to stabilize the structure. I would not hang flowers on this thing! the metal is just too flimsy and I have some serious doubts about it being able to support the weight.I have in mind to replace this structure next year, but for now I'm curious to see how it'll fair.

Minor niggles, but pretty decent.
Arrived quickly. All pieces present.A bit of a fiddle to put together - patience helps!Similar price to one I bought in Aldi 2 weeks ago - this is nicer quality, being green and rounded rather than black and flat, but Aldi included a screwdriver to put it together. This one didn't - not a big deal, but still slightly annoying. Some of the joints were very slightly misshapen, so needed a whack to get them to join together.Would have liked some pointed feet on the bottom so the earth doesn't go up inside the hollow pole. All minor issues really, and for under ยฃ10, I am satisfied.Photo shows the Amazon and the Aldi ones side by side.

A nice addition to the garden
I found the instructions for this very basic and rather tricky, but once Iโd mastered it, I am very happy with it. Very sturdy and nice looking. Delivery excellent.
