Standard Bottles

Perfect....does what it says on the tin !!5 star product 👍

I had laminate flooring installed in my kitchen and hallway almost a year ago and did my best to even out the subfloor before it was installed but, rather inevitably, there are bits of the floor where my efforts of even it out weren't very successful, which has led to a couple of parts of it creaking, popping, jutting-up and sinking, which was starting to drive me mad, so I decided to look for a solution.I found this stuff and, I have to admit, I wasn't at all convinced that drilling holes in my flooring and injecting glue beneath it would work, but it was the only solution I could find, short of lifting the flooring and sorting out the subfloor which I REALLY didn't fancy doing because it would be a heck of a job. With a reluctant sigh, I bought some Fix-a-floor along with the precision injection kit and had a crack at it over the past weekend.I hate to admit that my doubts were unjustified, but this stuff actually works! I simply drilled a few holes around the edges of the problem laminate planks, then injected the Fix-a-floor into them before placing weights over them for a few hours. I honestly can't believe how well it's worked - the previously sinking, jutting-up, creaking and popping planks are now solid and level, and seem to be stuck solid. There are some things that I learned:1. Once you've drilled the holes, make sure to vacuum out the debris before trying to inject the Fix-a-floor into them, or you'll end up with a blocked injector nozzle. I learned this the hard way, so you don't have to. Thankfully, the injector nozzle is easy to unblock with a pin and can be easily cleaned by spitting water through it, so it wasn't a huge problem.2. Keep a damp cloth nearby when you're injecting the stuff, as it's really quite runny. It's water-based though, so it's easy to wipe up spills.3. As it's quite runny, be careful not to squeeze the trigger on your caulking gun too hard - small, gentle squeezes are the name of the game here. All in all, I'm mightily impressed with this Fix-a-floor stuff and would definitely recommend it if you've got some annoyingly squeaky and uneven bits in your laminate flooring.

I recently purchased the Fix-A-Floor Extra Strength Bonding Adhesive to repair some loose tiles and hollow spots in my laminate flooring. Here’s my detailed review based on my hands-on experience with this product.Pros:Strong Adhesive Properties: The extra strength formula of this adhesive is impressive. It worked effectively to bond loose tiles back to the subfloor and filled voids under laminate planks, restoring stability and preventing further movement.Customizable Tip: The included 2mm+ customizable patented tip is a fantastic feature. It allows for precision application, making it easy to control the amount of adhesive dispensed. This precision helped me target specific areas without excessive overflow, ensuring a clean job.Versatile Use: This adhesive is suitable for a variety of materials, including tiles, wood, LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile), and laminate. Its versatility makes it a valuable addition to my DIY toolkit, as I can use it for various flooring types throughout the house.Preservation Cap: The preservation cap is a thoughtful addition that keeps the tip clean and prevents clogging between uses. This feature allows for easy storage without worrying about dried adhesive ruining the tip.Quick Drying Time: The adhesive sets relatively quickly, which is essential when you need to complete repairs efficiently. I was able to walk on the floors after a few hours, minimizing disruption to my daily routine.User-Friendly Application: Applying the adhesive was straightforward. The instructions were clear, making it easy even for someone with minimal DIY experience. I appreciated how uncomplicated the process was, which made my repair job less daunting.Cons:Container Size: The amount of adhesive in the container may not be sufficient for larger projects or multiple repairs. For extensive areas, I found that I needed to purchase additional tubes to complete all the necessary fixes.Initial Cleanup: While the adhesive is easy to work with, it can be a bit messy if you’re not careful. I recommend having some cloths or paper towels handy for quick cleanup to avoid sticky situations.Curing Time: Although the adhesive sets quickly, full curing can take longer. While I could walk on it after a few hours, I was advised to avoid heavy traffic for at least 24 hours to ensure the best bond. This might be inconvenient for those needing immediate access to the area. Not for Major Repairs: While this adhesive is great for loose and hollow spots, it may not be suitable for major structural repairs or damage. For severely compromised flooring, additional methods may be necessary.Potential for Over-application: Given the customizable tip, it requires a steady hand to avoid over-applying the adhesive, which can lead to excess material seeping out and creating a mess.Overall Verdict:The Fix-A-Floor Extra Strength Bonding Adhesive is an effective and practical solution for addressing loose tiles and hollow spots in various flooring types. Its strong bonding capabilities, user-friendly application, and versatile use make it a must-have for DIY enthusiasts and homeowners alike. While the container size might be a limitation for larger projects and initial cleanup is necessary, the overall performance and ease of use outweigh these minor drawbacks. If you’re looking for a reliable adhesive for your flooring repairs, I highly recommend the Fix-A-Floor Extra Strength Bonding Adhesive—it delivers excellent results and simplifies the repair process.

Had various loose floor tiles which resulted in cracked grouting. Purchased 1 tube to try and it worked well, resulting in buying 4 more. It is surprising how much of this white runny glue can be pumped via the little holes into the underside of loose tiles. One tube does not go far. There is a certain amount of waste where the glue gets pushed out of other holes or cracks, and when moving the nozzle from one hole to the next. Make sure a sponge and bucket of water is on hand to wipe up the excess. I thought from the description that the glue expands into the voids and would cause the tiles to lift when setting but this did not appear to be the case. Although the tubes are quite expensive it is a quicker solution to lifting each tile, removing the old glue and relaying which would probably resulted in a broken tile which would then be a bigger problem. As my grout had cracked, I ended up removing the grout and refilling to hopefully end up with a permanent fix. (Use a multitool with a diamond grout removal blade, and the comes out easily and quickly. ). As the instructions say, do not apply to much pressure to the mastic gun other wise the glue will leak into the plunger chamber. Be careful when cutting of the end of the tube to open it as the glue will pour out. Do it with the hole facing upwards and no where near the bedroom carpet. As others have said it does look similar to ova glue, but very much thinner and runny, but it does the job quickly. Yes is an a happy punter.

This is a great product and does the job. The trouble is the when using the trigger gun the product comes out the back even if you don't use too much pressure. You can end up wasting most of the adhesive. The tubes in my view need a complete redesign

UPDATE: It has worked and saved a small fortune in replacing an entire bathroom floor if I had broken the wobbly tile on removal. Upgraded my rating to 5*As others have mentioned, this stuff is extremely runny and the little job shown in the pic used a whole tube (about 20% spilling out over the tile, so have loads of kitchen roll, a waste bag and damp cloth to hand). It’s messy and smells suspiciously like an ordinary PVA. I’m doubtful if it will work, but will update this initial review after the 24 hour curing time.

Very poor product. Even u press the gun slowly all came through from the back side. Strange. DONoT BUY

Great glue for fixing my LVT cluck floor in an uneven spot by underfilling & also fixed minor damage

Great product, did the job well

This is pretty much watery PVA glue. The methods in the videos look easy to use but in reality unless you have huge cavities underneath your tiles, this won't work. The videos don’t indicate which situations it doesn’t work in. They don’t tell you what to do if you have those plastic spacers. I felt misled by their easy video. A huge waste of money. I’ve returned it and I ended up grinding the grout and using an epoxy grout.
