I have waited 3 months to write this review to make sure the product did or did not work. It truly works. I have strong hair growth on my legs and underarms and have tried everything on the market to handle this. I have always gone back to shaving as it was the quickest and cheapest, but I needed to shave daily but could not due to the rashes that I would get. I started out as the directions stated at the lowest level 3 times a week and increased the level till I reached 6. In the first 2 weeks I didn't notice any real difference in hair growth, but I did notice that when I shaved legs and underarms I no longer got the rash that always came with it and I could go 3 to 4 days without shaving instead of 1. By the 4th week the hair growth was noticeably thinner and some areas were completely smooth. I cut back to once a week still at level 6 and the hair growth was less and less and I was only shaving every 2 weeks and no rashes. By the end of 2 months my legs were very smooth and no rashes and there was little to no hair under my arms. It is now been 3 months and I am only down to 3 weeks for treatments and my legs and underarms have very little hair growth. I am only catching up with the stray hairs that show up here and there and very little shaving. My husband has even started using it to keep the stray hairs off his cheeks and have a cleaner beard line and also on the back of his neck. One thing to note this does not work on gray hairs. My husband has some gray hairs on the back of his neck and those are still coming in. Overall great product and would highly recommend. Also the cooling aspect is a great plus, especially on the face.

DO NOT USE OVER TATTOOED AREAS- it will hurt! I’ve had this unit for about two weeks now. I’ve tried I’d at least once over each part of my body. The cooling feature is amazing. I felt no pain on the more sensitive parts that I was nervous to treat. I naturally have thin, light hair on my arms and legs. So, I noticed a slight difference with just one treatment. Some parts of my arm have very little hair growing back on some parts that had really light hair. After two treatments in the bikini area, I noticed it was a slightly smoother shave.

I am so so so happy I got this! I could not get over how nice the packaging alone was. And the laser itself is perfect! It’s not too big or bulky so it’s not uncomfortable to hold. It’s super easy to learn to use with just the little manual it came with, if you’ve never done at home laser treatments before (like I hadn’t). It has 6 different intensity levels you can set it to, depending on what feels most comfortable for you. The head on the laser turns/rotates to perfectly fit for different areas of the body. The laser head is a sapphire ice touch screen, for cooling and soothing during and after your little sessions! Freaking amazing. I’ve had zero discomfort and am so happy with it all. It comes with the handheld laser, an additional filter/lens for post-treatments, glasses to protect your eyes during IPL, a razor, and the adaptor. I wanted to get started using this consistently before summer, because I’m tired of shaving every day going out to our pool. This has been so quick, easy, and painless to use on the bikini line area, underarm, and legs and I can already tell it’s working so well. I can’t wait to see at weeks 6-8 weeks after starting! (That’s when I saw in other reviews that people noticed total ceased hair growth, with only 1 maintenance treatment per month then) 🙌🏼🙏🏼 I LOVE this. **PSA-I am not an affiliate marketer, do not receive kickbacks and I paid full price for this item. I’ve had my eye on several home hair removal lasers since wintertime. I started researching products and brands and settled on this device. It had everything I was looking for, settings for hair removal on the face, arms, legs, underarms and groin area with an added bonus of a laser skin rejuvenation function. I’ve had the item in my cart for months trying to justify the expense. I wish I would have purchased it in the spring! This device is so effective, easy to use and flexible. The continuous pulse action allows you to treat large areas easily with automatic multiple flashes and a cooling function for pain free hair removal. The swivel head allows you to get into those hard to reach places. I performed a simple experiment on myself to test the device. In the video, I share my experience using on my legs. For 3-4 weeks, I only used the device on one arm pit. See for yourself, the results are pretty phenomenal! I showed my BF and he was stunned, then asked me to do his face 😂 I am blessed with lots of thick dark hair, which is great on my head, but embarrassing on other parts. I have several hairs that can grow from one follicle and often times grow under the dermal layer and I am prone to ingrown hairs. As I understand it, the laser works on killing the follicles. What I noticed at first, is that the hair was still there, it was just softer and more subtle. Then it was white or gray, and now I go weeks without needing to shave/wax/pluck/nair/thread or trim. The added bonus of this device is the SR function. It’s going to work on my sunspots from years of worshiping the florida sun. I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin tone, firmness, texture and fine lines. It comes with one set of laser glasses, so I purchased an additional (more like tanning beds goggles), with the elastic band to protect my eyes for when I want to use the SR function on my face. Additionally, I’d recommend purchasing a storage case as it only comes with the box and that can be cumbersome. Life is too short for ingrown hairs and sunspots, buy the JOVS laser hair removal with skin rejuvenating setting. You will not regret it!

I purchased this laser in July of 2025. Because it looked complicated and I was nervous I didn't start using it until November of 2025. I started using it as directed and it did, minimally, slow the growth of my leg hair such that I didn't have to shave very often at all. Then my sister said that we're old and we don't have much leg hair anyway so I stopped using the product thinking it was a waste of my time. However, when I stopped using the product, after a bit, my leg hair started to grow back overnight and I had stubbly legs. Damn my sister. I am now back to square one with the process. I have not used the skin rejuvenation mode. I do plan to use it and will try to update my review when I have used it for a period of time. I gave it 4 stars because while I love the automation mode, it often stops during my session. Usually if I wait 5 seconds or so it starts back up but when it doesn't I have to turn off the device, let it cool down and then start it up again. There are probably better devices out there but this one does work.

I have had laser hair removal professionally done before and loved the results. I am immunocompromised and a wheelchair user so I can't go to the spa right now. I wasn't expecting this to be anywhere as good as a professional session, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. It's a small handheld device, but otherwise it works the same way. You need to start with shaved skin so the light will target the hair follicles underneath the skin. This is a very important step so please don't skip it. It shouldn't be painful so it's very handy that you can adjust the light intensity. The laser is powerful so you must protect your eyes with the safety goggles. It takes several sessions to really start getting rid of the hair, but I noticed a difference pretty early on. I noticed that my hair was growing back slower, softer, and finer. Even before I was officially hair free, I looked a lot better because it was less noticeable. This is a much cheaper option than professional hair removal. Since it takes several sessions, it can cost thousands of dollars to do it at a spa. This is a fraction of the cost. Even though I love saving money, I am more impressed by the convenience of doing it at home. I can do it whenever I want instead of scheduling an appointment, meeting with an esthetican, and waiting around to get the treatment. I also appreciate the privacy it offers. I have mobility problems so I needed help at the spa to get in the correct position on the table. I can do this on my own and spare myself the embarrassment of getting treatments on more "delicate" areas. This is a great budget friendly option, but especially for someone who has limited mobility or body image issues.

****Update*** Purchased 17 Jun 2023, Died 1 Aug 2024. For $300 I expected longer use of it. Ad says warranty for 2 years, I used 3x week for about 2 months, then 1x a week. It did not get used that much. I have reached out with no response. Would not recommend***************Life changing!! My skin is ridiculously sensitive, I can only shave 1x week, have tried epilator, waxing, so many razors, everything causes razor burn and irritation with no lessening of growth. Even epilating only made me hairfree for 3 or 4 days. I have light skin dark hair. I started using 3x week as recommended immediately after receiving, I saw results after 1 mo. My legs are virtually hair free and I only use 1x week. Underarm and bikini I should prolly go back to 2x per wk, but hair is definitely WAY less than before, just not hairfree but I did focus on legs. I love it. I no longer feel like my skin hates me. I can wear shorts whenever I want. I am no longer embarrassed by my legs because my skin is no longer red and bumpy with ingrown hair everywhere. Worth every penny. Recommend quick 1 direction shave, not going to see my lover smooth. Light needs basic stubble to ride to follicle.

Ok, so yeah, it's easy enough to use, and there's no pain. But does it work? So far? NO. I have fair skin, very dark hair and have been using it, as directed (like, to the letter) for nearly three weeks - so that's about10 sessions - on my legs, bikini, underarms, and face. Zero difference as of now. And here's the thing: The manufacturer emails purchasers IMMEDIATELY upon receipt of the item, saying something about sending them photos to show proof that it isn't working. Sorry, not comfortable doing that. Just not. And I think they know that and hope that it dissuades people from contacting them about their product. Anyway. Since I've spent over $300 on this product, I will keep using it, as per the recommendations, for another couple of months. I will update this review, so if the thing starts to work, then then I'll let you know. And if not, I'll do the same. Standby! *Update 1*: it's now been over three weeks and still no results -- skipped shaving for a couple of days to see what kind of regrowth I'd be looking at and reader, the result, thus far, is...hearty. More tk! *Update 2*: Have added a star because I'm seeing some improvement in my underarm hair (which, I think, like most people, isn't the hairiest of my hairier parts). I didn't shave for three days and there's definitely a notable sparseness. Not seeing the same results on my legs or bikini area (harder to tell on my face because it's not like it's *super* hairy there either). I'd been reading reviews elsewhere where users said that they used the thing every day for a couple of months before they saw results. I asked the JOVS customer service people if that was safe and they didn't say "no" but they replied with their stated recommendation. Now, I am still using it 3 times a week - even though per the instructions, I should be using it less now. But I'd like to see if I can get results on my legs & bikini area. Will keep updating in a few weeks! ** Update 3** Ok, so I'm ... what, around 2 months in with regular use now? Still using it three times a week on my legs, face & bikini area. The underarms are essentially hair free for days at a time. The device has been slightly effective on my face, and far less effective on my bikini area and my legs. Like, almost not effect on the bikini, and only some on my lower legs (like, I don't have to shave *every* day, but I def have to shave every couple of days). It seems that I might have to use it frequently for a far longer period than suggested by the manufacturer suggests in order get some result. FINAL UPDATE: I've been using this regularly (twice a week). I can say that it's by far the most effective on my armpits. like, I can not shave my armpits for months and I'll get maybe one hair. It's semi effective on my legs in that I can not shave for two weeks. but... that's it. the hair grows back - sparsely in some places, but with normal coarseness and speed in others. I will say this about the legs: when they're smooth for the first few days, they are smoooooth. like if you get hot or cold (which can prompt hair growth, and you'll have instant stubble) there's no stubble, nada. but just for a few days. so it's definitely a nice thing to have if you're going away somewhere with like a pool, beach, hot-tub situation. on my bikini area, isn't not effective at all, really. maybe I'm a freak? I don't know. but if you're expecting dramatic results everywhere, you might be disappointed.

Me ha reducido el vello de forma considerable, esta padre que se mantenga fria por un rato, no esta pesada y que se le pueda mover la cabeza para que se te aocmode de acuerdo a la zona es lo que lo hace comoda. No tarda en estar lista y es facil de usar y lo que esta mas padre es que no duele! :) me gustaron tantos los resultados que la empece a utilizar en la espalda de mi novio y se le ha ido reduciendo los vellitos. es una buena inversion, si la recomiendo mucho.

Estoy sorprendida con los resultados. Lo he utilizado tal como indican el instructivo y a las 5 semanas noté cambios. Empecé depilando solo media pierna para hacer la comparación y la diferencia era muy notoria. El vello tarda más en crecer y ahora hay partes en las que casi no tengo. Estaba dudosa porque soy una mujer con mucho vello pero sí funciona, hay que ser constantes. Hay partes del cuerpo en las que he visto más resultados que en otras, en las axilas es donde me ha tardado más en hacer efecto pero sigo siendo constante. No me arrepiento de comprarlo, vale totalmente la pena.

Viene incompleto tiene el adaptador para la corriente tipo G y no se puede usar así en México. Debería de venir con el enchufe normal o que al menos manden un adaptador. Muy mal. Actualización: estuve en contacto con la empresa quien rápidamente me hizo llegar el cable correcto, hasta el momento llevo 3 semanas de uso y he notado disminución de calibre y velocidad de crecimiento del vello. Agradezco la atención y rápida resolución del problema.
