These pumice blocks work incredibly well on the Blackston Griddle. We always get that rusty look on our griddle because we don't use it that frequently. This is the only product I have found that removes all of that rusty look with ease. If you have a lot of cleaning to do, prepare to go through a few of these blocks. They wear down easily but they get the job done. The handle is nice but I honestly end out using the blocks more without to get into the corners and edges easier They are reasonably priced and I have purchased them multiple times. It is a fraction of the work to use these compared to other products I have used on the griddle.. Once I scrub it down, I use the hose to clean the debris off and then crank the heat on the griddle to make sure it dries out completely before i reseason the surface.

I have tried this AWEASROY grill cleaning brick out a few times on my outdoor cooker. It is supposedly made of ecological material that does not absorb grease or gunk, which is a relief since nobody wants a petrified burger from last month living on their cleaning tools. The value is good and it appears to be made of high quality materials. The kit comes with four gray pumice bricks and one handle. Using the handle is a smart move because it protects your hands from the hot surface. Since the stone is a softer material, it produces some dust but it won't slip while you work. It is much safer than wire brushes because you won't end up accidentally seasoning your steak with stray metal bristles 🥩 One tip: use a little water or oil while scrubbing to help the stone glide better. These are multi-purpose, so you can even use a fresh one on a sink or swimming pool. After cleaning, just wash it with warm water and store it. It is an awesome way to keep a cooking surface spotless without much effort 🧼✨

I received one of the cleaning bricks cracked. Attaching the cleaning brick took some finessing. Have to be careful not to crack the brick. Using the griddle cleaner was ok. Griddle cleaned up well but took a little bit more effort to get the sides clean due to lip interfering with the brick handle.

These will last a long time I believe. Which is good and bad at the same time. I use them on our grill and it cleans the top of the grill grate off nicely. It is such a hard block though that the rods don't wear grooves into it like they did with my old block. I liked the grooves because that allowed the pumice material to wrap part way around the rods and did a more quick and thorough cleaning that way. Probably shouldn't take a star off for that but I do really wish they were just a bit softer. The handle is nice as it gets your fingers farther from the hot grill.
