Yes I ordered a bucket and they sent a bucket - wow and they wanted a review ?
The order was for a cheap under a tenner bucket to put hot ash in - it therefore needed to be metal. I ordered this metal bucket which turned out to be amazingly bucket shaped and of a metallic substance resembling galvanised thin-ish sheet metal. They thoughtfully in bucket tradition added a handle to be able to hold the bucket and a wooden grip - pretty much like in the picture and every other galvanised bucket out there. Mine will be mainly for indoor use to take hot ash from log burner out to compost so the thickness of the metal or plating is not that important, therefore fits the bill. This is not a heavy duty bucket - I did not want a heavy duty bucket - I got what I wanted. Sarcasm aside - good light weight galvanised bucket for light use with low risk of contact with water or weather and at very cost effective price.

Great as a bucket, but other uses too as a fire pit.
Great little bucket, perfect for camping! I wanted something to be able to have a little fire. Tested in garden and camping, all morning on campsites, they allow them. The bucket is 12L so not small, it’s decent size to keeps you safe with just the right amount of space for couple logs to burn and I put it on two bricks to save the grass, idea works perfectly. As a metal bucket, it looks fine too 😂 and even with the small wooden handle......this did not burn through....although there’s time I’m sure 😂 for £6.99 this was much cheaper than any small BBQ whic was was my original idea, and if you wanted to you could use a grill tray to cook I guess, but I haven’t, just done Marshmallows and enjoyed the bucket fire 🔥 and the peace it brings with it.

Well made
I’ve used an old zinc bucket for some years to carry coal into the house. This replacement bucket looks similar, but is lightweight and it’s galvanised metal. I don’t expect it’ll last more than a year or so before the base rots. It’s well made and the wooden grip to the handle is essential for carrying with comfort. It’s convenient, a couple of pounds more than in a hardware store( but that involves a 22 mile round trip) so the additional cost is reasonable. Quite happy with it.

Excellent Product for Bargain Price!
This is a lovely traditional- looking bucket, well made out of nice shiny galvanised steel and sporting a smooth little wooden handle. I am using mine as a planter and it looks great! Much cheaper than some other almost identical items. Arrived very quickly. I would definitely buy again, if I need another in the future 👍🏻

Lightweight galvanised bucket.
Made well and when purchased a fair price for item. Use round the house for carrying cleaning products etc around, also for paper shredding to make wood burner bricks, passes the evening sitting there shredding old newspapers! Presume it is waterproof not used for liquid but the weld looks solid.

Not galvanised
The bucket I received was really nice but wasn’t anything like the one in the picture. It was a good quality stainless steel bucket, not galvanised and had a sturdy stainless handle with no wooden bit.

Used for coal in the cafe
My good friend runs a cafe and in the winter warms us customers with a log burner. But it really helps to have a little smokeless coal to keep it going for hours on end . This bucket holds enough for a week just enough to keep the fire alive for another five or six bits of timber.
