Good quality

I don't know whether it is the brand or the food itself, but I was lead to understand that even tropical fish would love 'bloodworm' - a real "treat"! But no. Unfortunately they don't. I have mollies, platies, tetras, and a guppy - the latter is the only one who shows some interests in the matter. Sometimes the mollies and platies would sort of chew on one or two of them worms but not really the effect I was expecting. And this feeding behaviour occurs only if they are starving, for if you provide the dried worms along with man-made flakes, they would devour the flakes leaving the tiny little cylindrical tubes floating behind. You'll have to fish them later on of course. Not a treat at all! [Edit] My fish will eat them now but you've got to crush them a bit though and the fish must not have been overfed with flakes. However my aquarium has also changed since I placed my original comment - my platies are bigger now and have had many babies and so the competition to grab food first is enormous now, so maybe that's playing a part in it as well. I've changed my mind - if fed and use properly it can cause little pollution. So I'm raising the score to 4 stars for this!

Fish love it

I got these freeze dried blood worms for our fish, we have cold water & tropical fish. Our fish go mad for blood worm. You get a lot of blood worms for the value for money, they are easy to use. The size of the blood worms could be a bit bigger for the bigger fish we have. The quality is good. They smell fishy when you open them.

I know it is written 5 gym but I was a bit misleads by reviews and photos below, it isnlike a joke, I am buying frozen blood worms for 3,5 from pet shop and last me ages, and this one looks like a dust, my fish didn’t react at all.

Wouldn't recommend eating yourself as they might not taste nice and make you ill so I can't really judge the quality or taste of them as I'm not idiotic enough to try. Bit smelly. However my tropical fish seemed to enjoy them and they didn't die so must be pretty good. Good size box with a good amount so price is good for them..

Très bon produit, mes poissons adorent ! Je trouve les larves plus grosses que sur les marques qu'on trouve en animalerie, donc je conseille vraiment ceux la pour ceux qui veulent une certaine taille de larves de moustiques !
