I dont normally write reviews but this product is so good, I just wanted to share my findings. I have had lower back issues for a quite few years now that chiropractors, extended hospital physiotherapy, bowen technique treatment etc hasnt managed to cure so I have just been managing to cope the best I can and be as active as I can and exercise. Now for the reason I bought this product. Unfortunately about 10 months ago I damaged my shoulder and couldnt sleep or move my arm without pain. I thought I must have just pulled a muscle but a few weeks later and it wasnt improving so I went to the doctor. Doctors referred me to hospital for assessment and treatment for suspected rotator cuff injury. The hospital started off with xrays and then months of physio and eventually ended saying that they didnt think it was a torn rotator cuff but because of the original injury, apparently according to the consultant, the wrong muscles are now moving the wrong joints because the brain has been trying to protect the injury and controlling the new signals to the muscles. They say it will eventually repair itself, but will take quite some time, up to 18 months. Due to all the above muscle issues, I started to look around for a good massager and found this original Donnerberg product on amazon with all its great reviews. I realise its considerably more expensive than so many 'similar' devices on sale but rather than risk getting a cheaper device and being disappointed, I bit the bullet and decided to get the 'real deal'. I am so pleased I did, I love it. It came yesterday and I must say, this device just oozes quality and practicality. I started using it straight away on my shoulders and initially thought there was an issue with one of the rotator head drives as it was very clunky and jumpy on one side. Couldnt see anything wrong with the unit so out of interest, I tried the unit the other way up so that the massage heads were swapped over on my shoulders. Same clunking and jumping on the same shoulder then I realised, that this is on my bad shoulder. I then realised it must be the knotted muscles on that side that the massage heads were working on and it was jumping over the knots. Having used it (probably too much) that day on my shoulders and back, I started to feel relief from some of the muscle pains I have had and I actually felt I had a better nights sleep. Today I put it on again early on to continue the treatment as I was convinced that this device was going to help me. I couldnt believe but this time, there was no jumping or knotted muscles on the bad shoulder side, all was smooth and I actually feel I have better movement on that side of my shoulder too. I know its very early days but I am convinced this unit will really help. The massage action and heat, vibration settings available are fantastic and you certainly get a really intensive massage. It is also very easy with a little added pressure to get this device to make you wince in pain (if you are that way inclined) the massager is certainly very capable making you squirm :) Sorry its such a long tale but basically, I love this massager already and personally feel its worth the outlay, even more so if it helps out with the aches and pains I have had for so long. I am not saying the cheaper 'similar' offerings available wouldnt do a similar job, but from what I have seen so far, I am so pleased I plumped for this original premium model from Donnerberg it really does ooze quality and is made in Germany, it is not a Chinese clone which to me, is another plus. I am so pleased with the whole package, in my opinion, its a fantastic product... and thank you Amazon for supplying it on next day delivery.

After doing a great research on similar products, I finally decided to choose Donnerberg massager. I don't regret choosing it, it is the best purchase I've done on Amazon. I definitely recommend this product, for those who need a regular massage because of their sedentary work, or even active people to release tension in the muscles. The product arrived fast, communication with the seller was very effective - they have responded to my questions prior to the acquisition. Their responses and other customers responses proved to be very helpful. As a lot of the reviews here mentioned, I can confirm that the German quality of the product makes a huge difference between other cheap replicas. The massager comes professionally packaged and it contains: - the massager - power adapter for Europe and an additional one for UK (very helpful while traveling) + a car adapter - 2 spare covers that are washable and soft - This is very helpful and hygienic. - A soft cloth that you wrap around your neck to protect your skin in case you have sensitive skin. - A bag - super handy when you are traveling - A manual I have been using this massager for almost one month now and I am very pleased with it. I have been going to a professional masseuse once a month and I always need a back, neck and shoulder massage as I work in IT and I sit all day at the computer, so I can confirm that a daily usage makes the difference. And after a long day, this massager is the perfect solution to relax and release tense muscles. After I work in the kitchen, my feet get swollen -> I have used it for the feet and it is a blessing. The heating function is very helpful, it feels like real hands are touching your body. One piece of advice - do not use it excessively on one area (for example one hour) because afterward your muscles will get sore and can hurt. I think there is a valid reason why the manufacturer decided to automatically turn off the device after 15 minutes. Try different positions to sit in order to find the most comfortable one for your needs. I prefer sitting on a chair or in the bed but up-seated. I lay down in the bed only when I massage my belly. The only downside of the product is that in order to get a proper, comfortable massage, we cannot lay-down completely as if you were being massaged my a human being. Maybe if there would be an additional belt to wrap around your waist in order to hold the massager in place, it would be possible to lay down on your stomach. All in all, I fully recommend this product to all of you that need a regular massage or just want to relax. You can share it with your family, with friends and it is a long time investment.

A really first-class product. The construction quality, functional performance, feature design and choice of materials cannot really be faulted. Thoughtful inclusions like a durable stuff-sack and spare inner washable lining, which can be easily exchanged, affirm that this product has been derived for the practical needs of the user. A 7 year warrenty is included, which is a huge commitment for a manufacturer to make for a product of this type, but I doubt that their confidence is misplaced. I sincerely expect this to last. If you're considering buying this, then you'll be aware that the price is higher than most alternatives. None of that substantial cost has been wasted on unneccessary features or gimmicks, but instead every feature that has been included has been meticulously thought out and executed to very high standards which, for me, has justified the expense. My main purpose for using this is to relieve reoccurring tension in the trapezius muscle group from long hours at a desk-top computer as a professional design engineer. The Donnerberg neck massager performs very well for this application and I'm happy to endorse it whole-heartedly. When considered against the combined cost of three comparable products from other manufacturers that I've tried, which have either performed poorly or broken within a few weeks, I think this might reasonably be considered good value. My only suggestion for improvement would be for an increase in the length of - or an extension piece for - the supplied power cable, which is currently around 2m long. This restricts comfortable use to within a little over 1m from a power outlet, which isn't always ideal.

I've decided to go for this more expensive model (compared to other sellers on amazon) because I was looking for quality. And it didn't disappoint me. This is by far the best massager I have ever tried. Quite powerful, makes you feel almost "pain" the first time it hit those muscles. But it's a goo pain. Vibration is also quite strong and very effective (although a bit too noisy). Also, it really heats your body with the infrared functionality, which is really good, especially if you are in a cold environment. The only, real issue that I found, and I knew before buying it, is that it must be connected to a plug in order to work. No battery or rechargeable battery. This is, I think, a manufacturer choice that decided to promote quality and power over portability. Again, I knew it in advance, and I am quite happy with the product. But sometimes I wish it had same specifics but a a wireless massager. Overall, I advice it if wired is not a huge issue for you.

Great product, I discovered this product firstly at an exhibition and tried it out and fell in love with it. Many months later after saving for a bit I decided to purchase it and what a great buy. During lock down I've obviously been unable to see my physio or get a massage, so this is a perfect substitute, the only problem I have is knowing when to switch it off! Very easy to use and what is great about it is you can control your own pressure by simply putting more pressure on the arm loops, this product can also be used for legs, feet, arms, back, neck and shoulders, its so versitile. Highly recommend this product for anyone who has a desk job like I do, great relief after staring at a computer all day.

for the last few months I have had problems with my neck. I went to a osteopath and he said that I had cervical spondylosis, due to my age. this was going to cost me a lot of money if I kept going to him. I researched google and came up with "shiatsu neck and shoulder massager". I look in detail on Amazon U.K. what were available. there were cheap ones which I did not want to buy and I found "DONNERBERG NECK AND SHOULDER MASSAGER NM-089" the reviews appeared to be very good. I then did a further check on DONNERBERG'S website, again very good. this I then purchased from Amazon. very quick delivery. the item was well packed, and inspecting the item, was of excellent quality. I have now used this for a few weeks and my neck is very much better. I am using this on the slowest setting and with the vibration on,which is very good. Brilliant! Even though, it isn’t easy to match human touch when it comes to finding a massager, this is probably to closest you can get. I have been using this massager every day since I got it and am extremely pleased with the results. So much so that I ordered another one for my sister. I’m finding that it’s posisble to treat so much more than just neck and shoulders and the best way is to experiment and see what works for you. I have also successfully used it on back, my arms, feet, legs and stomach. Being able to treat yourself every day and any time is a big bonus. I have a long term injury and regular massages combined with the use of infra red heater have helped my muscles to relax and to work better. I hope I continue to benefit. I would certainly recommend this product.

I have been suffered neck & shoulder pain for over a year. To relief the pain, I have had many chiropractic and physio sessions which cost me a lot of money. To find an alternative solutions, I started to search some massagers then I came across to this product on Amazon. After reading many positive feedback, I was impressed so I ordered one for myself. The delivery was fast, thanks to Amazon. The product itself is very straight forward to use it. I have been using it 3-4 times a week before I go to bed or when I watch tv. It does help me to relax my muscle and to sleep a bit better. I do agree other people's reviews that the cable length is a little short. Considering it comes with a 7-year warranty, it's a good buy to me!

It is fantastic, I do nat have pain anymore in my shoulders

Je l ai acheté sans aucune conviction, je suis 8:00 par jour devant l écran et chaque hiver mon dos se bloque, se crispe et se raidit avec la météo et le stress du travail, surtout au niveau des cervicales. J avais souvenir qu en Thaïlande un bonne masseuse m avait tout enlevé en 20 mn. Du coup, n ayant pas la chance d avoir une experte dans mon entourage, je me suis dirigé vers une machine et n ayant pas non plus la possibilité dans mon village d essayer le matériel je me suis fié aux articles, vidéos et commentaires sur internet et à force de lire et de recouper les avis il semblerai que le top c est ce modèle. J ai donc commandé cette machine avec beaucoup de crainte car quand on n a pas essayé... Lorsque je l ai reçu j avais l épaule bloquée et une forte douleur dans les cervicales due à la crispation du froid, j ai branché l appareil et j ai tout de suite senti la qualité du massage et l option chaleur qui apaise, j ai été surpris qu une machine puisse réaliser un massage aussi réaliste, c est doux et ferme à la fois. Après 15 mn de massage j ai retiré l appareil et, grand bonheur, j ai retrouvé la sensation de légèreté et de soulagement que j avais vécu la bas en Thaïlande. Je suis totalement convaincu par ce produit, c est certainement le meilleur investissement réalisé, je m attendais à un gadget de geek mais c est un appareil qui mérite sa place dans la catégorie « appareil medical » si j avais su que ça existe, je l aurai acheté bien avant. Si vous avez des douleurs dans le cou ou les cervicales ou si comme moi vous êtes longtemps devant l écran du pc, j ai l élan de vous dire qu il ne faut pas hésiter à l acquérir, cet objet va rendre votre quotidien plus agréable. Je ne commente jamais les produits mais là si ça peut aider quelqu un à faire un bon choix, je le fais volontiers ! Ce produit est top, robuste, bien construit, simple et efficace. Je recommande a tous et Amazon ne m offre rien pour rédiger ce commentaire !

Acht dicke Rollen wie Finger beginnen im Inneren des Massagegerätes zu rollen. Diese Rollen lockern effektiv das Gewebe und können Verspannungen lösen und entspannen. Wird etwas Druck mit den Handschlaufen ausgeübt oder man legt sich drauf, dann wird die Massage noch intensiver. Die leisen Rollen können auf Knopfdruck in die andere Richtung bewegt werden. Der dritte Knopf ist für das Zuschalten von etwas Infrarot Wärme. Viele meiner Kunden, die das Produkt regelmäßig benutzen, sind absolut zufrieden und beschwerdefrei.
