Product ID: 48970625
Product description Stroking this lengthening formula of beeswax and acacia on your lashes, you are reminded of kindred women who share this glamorous beauty secret. The formula is gentle yet still provides a dramatic effect with luxuriant looking lashes and you never have to worry about clumping or flaking. Ingredients Cera Alba, TEA Stearate, Acacia Senegal, Aqua, Glyceryl Abietate, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Parfum Methychloroisothiazilinone, Methylisothiazilinone, +/-:CI 77499, CI 77288, CI 7707, CI 77491, CI 77492. P.when('A').execute(function(A) { A.on('a:expander:toggle_description:toggle:collapse', function(data) { window.scroll(0, data.expander.$expander[0].offsetTop-100); }); }); Directions Presented as a solid cake inside a square compact case and including a mirror and applicator brush. The brush is a flat brush - not a spiral wand. Just moisten the brush, wipe over the block and sweep over the lashes! It is in your control as to how much water you add to the brush. Less water makes for a more intense lash, more for a lighter application. See more

Wonderful!
I accidentally ordered this brown one instead of the black one so when it arrived I contacted the seller and they were very helpful, gave me a free post address and said they would exchange it without any additional charge since I hadn't used it. Quick and hassle free. As for the product itself, I am a dedicated cake mascara gal now. No clumps, natural looking (unless you go for a dramatic effect by applying more layers, it look great like that too!) and once you get the hang of it it's easy to use. It does take practice and I switch between the original brush and a disposable one, sometimes the original is too hefty. Buy this mascara!

Not as expected
In my youth this sort of mascara was all that was available so I was looking forward to this. However I was very disappointed. The brush was quite stiff and using this I couldn't get the block to the right consistency to apply it to my lashes. Perhaps a softer brush would be better? It was impossible to use on my lower lashes as the brush was far too stiff. It would liken it to trying to paint a wall with a nail brush. I have thrown it!

Disgusted - Waste of money!
Totally disappointed with this product and I hope I can stop others wasting their money with my review. From the image I have attached you will see that the amount of mascara is very small. It's approximately the size of a 10p coin. Does it work? No, it does not. It's probably the worst item I have bought online. Please don't bother with it. That is my honest review. It arrived with a catalogue of their other products, which went into the bin.

Fantastic.
I was fed up of clogging mascara sticks, didn't think you could still get the cake variety but after searching Amazon found this little beauty. Just like I used to use when I was younger. No more clogged/dry sticks defines every lash perfectly. A must buy.

Happy Nostalgic Customer
Was very pleased to find this online as this was for my mum who used to use this in the 50's - she was extremely happy with this and it brought back fond memories

Brown Mascara
This item was a present for my mother who has always used block mascara but is now finding it impossible to buy in the shops. I ordered it for her online and she is thrilled with it. She is also happy that a catalogue was included in her parcel so that she can now do her own shopping (by post)as she does not have a computer. Many thanksJoan Calder
