They are used to absorb moisture which is exactly what these larger versions to place on your feet do. As you sleep they absorb moisture and the silica inside, surprise, surprise is a dark colour. This means, the more sweat your feet expel the larger the dark area. This is why people think these absorb toxins, I tried putting a little water on one and that was what it did. The only way that the dark colour will be reduced is when you have a sweat free night! I tried these for one week and the pads were the same every night. By all means try them as they are simple to use, but don't think that they are doing you any good. Eat well and exercise and you won't need to worry about 'toxins' in your body!

Will never buy again. My mum first bought me these , dont know where from. So I looked and decided to buy these. The patches to stick do not stick had to tape them on. Really disappointed!!! Not sending back why should I pay to send back a rubbish product!!

Have used a more expensive type of this product previously but find this has all the qualities of the orginal product at half the price. The effects of the Detox Foot Patches include an excellent nights sleep more energy and an aid to weight loss. I can wholeheartedly recommend this brand and will continue to use with confidence.

I found these easy to use and did not experience any mess. I tried these every night for a week and the first thing i noticed was that i felt more energetic and rested when getting up in the morning....i normally struggle. Within minutes of putting on i felt tingles and a drawing out sensation on my feet which felt very pleasant. I have ordered again as i liked so much. Worth trying out.
