LED Batten Light 4ft/115cm, 3550LM 32W 6500K LED Tube Light, Garage Light

I had problems with my normal fluorescent light tubes and was advised that replacements are difficult to get hold of, as they are now replaced with LED light tubes. With some trepidation I ordered these from Amazon. They arrived quickly and I enlisted the help of my son to take down the old tubes and install the new ones. This light assembly was easier to put up than to take down the old one. Once installed, the power was supplied and they immediately lit up, no flickering or noise, just lit up. I chose the same wattage (32w) as the old tubes but these are much brighter. We now have to go into the kitchen wearing sunglasses.

A twin pack of very good lights. They shine bright, and the light is diffused well. They are flimsy when installing, but when up they are fine. I got mine via the Warehouse, and they were missing the screws and instructions, but they are simple to fit. One problem is there is very little room on top of the light, so hiding a connector block is difficult if you mount these on a flat surface. Fortunately in the garage I could tuck away the block near a joist.

I took down 'four' old style 5ft. fluorescent tubes.. heavy and dusty from the garage - and needed only ''2'' of these tubes to replace them because of their much brighter light output.. - easy to fix,. so light in weight you can fix them anywhere.. but only time will tell if they are as robust and long lasting as the old type.

Excellent level and colour of light - my double-length garage now appears as if it has daylight flooding in. Approximately 60cm of cable - more generous than some similar units. With only Live and Neutral wires it can make connection a little simpler.

As other reviewers have said, when these work, they're nice and bright. But, only one of mine worked on arrival. They were badly packed and the box was damaged. So, please make sure you test 'em as soon as you get 'em - don't wait till it's too late. If you're using 'em to replace a fluorescent light, you'll need a ceiling rose or similar to connect the supply and the lamp, as they're sealed units with an external 60cm flex.

Lovely bright light easily fitted. Some people have described these as flimsey which misses the point, as once fitted they don't need to do anything just provide illumination which do very well. I dropped mine on th floor which didn't damage it! I will be replacing my other fluorescent lights with these cheaper, brighter and more efficient alteratives.
