Curver Petlife Dry Pet Food Container 12kg

As with the majority of Curver products this is well designed and put together. I expect it will last a very long time. The wheels are strong and move easily both empty and full. The clip on the larger opening (the one at the front) is a little flimsy but works okay keeping the food dry and secure. The top hatch is plenty big enough to get the food out using the green scoop which is included in the lid. I would have preferred it to be plain rather than the dogs on the outside but that's just my choice. I have a golden retriever and he has 12kg sacks of medium sized kibble, it fits in really well.

After reading the previous reviews for this product I decided to buy one. It is sturdy and easy to store, doesn't take up much room. It is easy to open and shut and holds what it says (12kgs). I bought a 13kg bag of food and keep the remainder in the house. The new container is kept in a garage and is keeping the food dry as stated. I probably thought at the time that it was quite expensive for what you were getting, however, it is on wheels, is light to push about, is sturdy and hopefully will last for a while.

This is excellent, fit's perfectly in a corner of our kitchen & looks good, seals really well so little noses can't smell it! Almost fit a 15kg bag of food in & the bit that didn't fit was his dinner for a couple of days so no bother at all, came with a good scoop. Whole lid opens to pour food in then smaller lid for when your measuring out the food.

Does the job, I read other reviews about the lid snapping and I know why. If you use too much force on detaching the scooper, it would break. There's a knack to it, so be gentle and it will be fine. This a good discreet container and sits on the floor in the kitchen next to my pedal bin. It's convenient and I like that it comes in different litre sizes. Only issue is there are lots of crevices on top where crumbs/bits can fall, so you need a vacuum to suck them out, can't reach with a cloth when wiping

This was such a good buy, I now do not have dry dog food bags in my kitchen, this is an air tight container that keeps the dog food dry and being air tight keeps it fresh. It is well made and i like the fact that it has a two lid design, one to fill the container, and the other to use in every day use. I have filled it with 12kg of dry dog food, bigger bite biscuits.there is still room and should think it could take 15kg. In all, I wish that I had purchased this along time ago.

Curver Petlife Food Container 12 Kg/ 35 Litre Capacity The curver petlife food container is made from a (seemly)hard durable slightly flexible molded plastic.It has two lids at the top of the container,one for filling which is the main lid &,one for quick(er) easy access when you`re using the supplied scope.The scope does come locked into the top of the container but,it is easier to leave it on top of the food inside(if possible)as,the plastic tags that hold if are tight & some may find it difficult to release the scope from the inside of the lid.Now others have stated that one or both lids are hard to open,I can only assume this is where the "hermetically sealed" comes into play to keep food fresh,before opening if you just take a good little look at the plastic catches,you`ll be able to figure them out(if I can,most can),take your time,be gentle at first & they`ll open concerning the scope tags,they`re a little harder so if you think you`ll end up breaking,just leave it of the tags. (This is where I`m going to get daggers)My "objective" view is that the 12KG" HOLDS MUCH MORE THAN 12KG`S....this is backed up by me using a luggage scale weigher to weigh our container when it was full.We already had a half full container then I purchased a 12KG bag & managed to fit nearly 3 quarters of the bag into the half full container.So I thought I`ll weigh the full container for the purpose of this review & from five(5) weighing`s the minimum was a "little over" 15GK max was about 16KG`s so,I can safely say that ours has "15KG" inside it right now.I must state that the dog kibble(people should know that "biscuit" & treats will be larger)is quite small(Simpsons Premier Puppy Food)it is a little larger than a garden green pea so,this is the reason why we`ve managed to fit so mcuh in to a "12GK" container. Conclusion: If your after a air(Hermetically sealed)tight dog food container that has two lids,has movability (wheels),comes with a sturdy scope,12gk`s but holds more(if food is on the small size),nice to look at,&(seemingly)value for money,the Curver Petlife Dog Food Container may suit your & your dog/s needs,recommended 5 stars. It's a good idea and very useful. I like the idea of a sealed lid but I can only hope it works as the catch doesn't seem to pull the lid down to squeeze the seal. The catches seem a bit delicate, I can see how some people have broken them and I'm grateful for their warnings so I didn't do the same. On my container I had to fit together myself the catch on the larger lid, as it hadn't been clipped together and only one of the two wheels actually turns, so it has to either be lifted or dragged across my brand new flooring. All in all it's a good idea, it's just poorly made/put together and if mine is a dodgy one, their quality control is rubbish. It cost the same through Amazon as from Pets at Home so, in hindsight, I should have bought through Pets at Home as I would have had it changed easily.

Fast and efficient shipping. This curver is very useful as it helps keeping dog food fresh, and not having dog food bags all around the house. In this particular size, the curver fits perfectly in a corner of my kitchen, and it's also aesthetically pleasing to see. The curver has two lids: one bigger to refill dog food, and one smaller to scoop up the food when needed. There's also a green medium scoop, which perfectly fits on the inside of the smaller lid. All in all, I'm very satisfied with this curver, which is very useful and resistant, and not even that expensive.

Soluzione perfetta per le crocchette. Il contenitore è a tenuta, quindi: - le crocchette si mantengono bene; - non si sente il minimo odore. L'aspetto è molto bello e conforme alle descrizioni. Molto pratiche le rotelle per spostarlo e l'apertura superiore. Fantastici gli elementi in rilievo che segnalano la quantità di crocchette rimanenti. Noi ci abbiamo messo dentro un sacco da 7,5 Kg di Exlusion Mediterraneo (Small Bread) e siamo arrivati giusti a metà. Più che il peso consiglio di guardare al volume: 35 litri possono contenere più di 12 kg, nel nostro caso penso si possa arrivare anche oltre i 15 riempiendo fino all'orlo.

Ich habe heute den Curver Futter-Container 12 kg erhalten und bin voll zufrieden. Vorab sei gesagt, ich habe ewig nach einem derartigen Futter-Container gesucht und diesen Curver vorab auch schon in der Realität gesehen. Wichtig bei der Auswahl waren Rollen und eine Dichtung am Deckel, damit das Futters trocken und das Aroma erhalten bleibt. Nützliches Gadget ist der innen am Deckel verstaubare Portionsbecher sowie die kleinere Öffnung im Deckel zur praktischen Futterentnahme, damit man nicht immer den ganzen Container öffnen muss. Was mich lange vom Kauf abgehalten hat, war die Grösse der Curver Container. Der 12 kg Container schien mir etwas zu klein und der 20 kg Container viel zu groß. (Leider waren die Rezensionen in diesem Punkt zu unpräzise und nicht zu 100 % hilfreich). Ich habe mich dann doch für den kleineren entschieden und gleich nach Erhalt einen frischen 15 kg Futtersack aufgeschnitten und umgefüllt. Bis auf ca. 1,5 Curver Portionsbecher (beiliegend) hatte der Inhalt des Sackes Platz. Die 15 kg Futter lassen sich aber nur ohne Sack darin verstauen. Bei meinem Ridgeback decken diese 1,5 Becher noch nicht mal den Tagesbedarf und sind ruck zuck verspeist, weshalb ich es auch verschmerzen kann, wenn diese Menge keinen Platz mehr im Container findet. Allerdings kann dann auch der Portionsbecher für einige Tage nicht am Deckelbefestigt werden. ... Eine kleine Spur größer wäre nett gewesen aber wir werden es überleben! Hervorzuheben ist noch, dass der Deckel komplett abnehmbar ist, was die Reinigung des Containers erleichtert. Kunststof und Verarbeitung wirken sehr hochwertig. Dank der 2 Räder lassen sich auch 15 kg Futter mühelos transportieren. Vor allem aber bleibt der Container da wo man ihn abstellt und kann nicht durch die Gegend rollen. Das Design ist Geschmacksache, neutral wäre mir lieber... aber es gibt wirklich schlimmeres. Alles in allem ein sehr hochwertiger Futter-Container, der zwar nicht gerade günstig ist, dafür aber eine lange Lebensdauer erwarten lässt und sich somit auch rechnen wird. Auf jeden Fall Daumen hoch für den Kauf! Nachtrag: Der Container wurde 2012 gekauft und ist auch 2023 noch in Gebrauch. Einzig ein kleines Teil der Portionsbecherhalterung an der Innenseite des Deckels ist nach 8 Jahren abgebrochen das ist verschmerzbar. Der Container hält ein Hundeleben lang 🔝

Quería este producto porque es el único recipiente de este tipo que, efectivamente, es hermético y no deja escapar el olor (además de mantener el pienso bien conservado, mejor que en un paquete abierto), por lo que mis perros no se pasan el día pegados a él pidiendo comida, ni intentan mordisquearlo ni nada. Elegí comprarlo aquí porque estaba rebajado más de un 50% de su precio habitual, que son unos 40 euros. Recomiendo este producto a personas que tienen perro de tamaño grande o varios perros porque almacena unos 15 kg de pienso, aunque pone 12 en realidad cabe más, y tiene una pala dispensadora muy útil.

Achat sans regret, vraiment très bon produit, le conteneur fait bien son boulo, conserve très bien les croquettes et plutôt design. Assure un coté hygiène, beaucoup mieux que le sac de croquettes roulé avec une pince à linge. Facile d'utilisation avec sa trappe et la petite pelle, en 2 secondes on peut prendre les croquettes et refermer la trappe sans problème, très hermétique, aucune odeur. Je le conseille vraiment si vous voulez quelques choses de pratique, hygiénique et plutot sympa esthétiquement.
