I cannot speak to other reviews, but I have made some significant discoveries. Day1, I charged the battery to 100% and connected it to my recliners. About 12hours later, I saw the battery was down to 93% without use. Doing the math reveals the battery would only last about a week. I unplugged the battery and let it set for 24hours to see if the percentage continued to fall. After 24hours the batter had not gone down any more. This means the sofa was drawing current even when not in use. The 4 lights and control boards in the sofa were causing the battery to drain quickly. To fix the issue, I purchased an ON-OFF switch and another 2 pin wire to make a circuit breaker because I could not find one on Amazon (my cost was $20). I put the switch on my console between the 2 recliners. It is an extra step to using the recliners. I have turn on when needed, turn off when not needed. But the tradeoff is worth it. My battery now last about 4 months before requiring a recharge. I give this item 5 stars because the power drain issue is not a battery fault. I recommend to manufactures of these type products and furntiture to create a low cost solution so users do not have to create there own. Note to furniture manufactures, there is no excuse for power parasites these days. If furniture is draining batteries, then it cost money every second it has power connected.

This recliner battery works great. The couch recline and reset motors work perfectly. It probably gets used an average of three times per day, and after a month the battery is still at 86%. The key thing to realize is that you can't use the USB-ports on the couch to charge your phone (or anything else) from this battery. The capacity of this battery is LESS than that of a typical smartphone, so if you try to charge your phone from it the inevitable result will be a poorly charged phone and a flat furniture battery. I'm happy to recommend this recliner battery to anyone. Update - 14-April 2023. Continued average three cycles per day on the recliner and the battery has finally dropped to 20%, after 5.5 months on the initial charge. I'm recharging it now. Very impressive performance.

We only bought this when company came over so that there were no power cords running across the floor. The first we used it, we got 2 days on battery before it went dead. The second time, one day. Horrible product! The Company sent a second battery for us to try. KUDOS to them for customer service. We tried the new battery hoping that the first one was defective. The second battery came with 75% charge. We charged it to 100%. It only lasted 2.5 days. We are retired and use the double recliner a lot but what gives? It does serve the purpose of hiding the electrical cord when company comes over.

I like having cordless chargers, I purchased two. The chargers didn't last as long as I hoped it would. It was easy to plug into my chairs and functioned great. My chairs worked with it as it did with the corded chargers, chairs reclined easily. I am glad I purchased it but I think I will mainly use it when guest come. If it lasted longer I think it would be a great value for the money spent. I didn't really time how long it lasted but I think it may have been no more than a month but as stated using the USB charger did help shorten the life span.

this is a must have for electric recliners, you now have the ability to use your recliner without the need to be next to an outlet. you can use it even if there is electric failure. In my experience after using it for 1 year it will power your for 6 months. Also the power meter screen is very good to monitor the power level. For sure it will be cheaper than on the furniture store

We never expected to be able to have reclining furniture in our family room, but with this battery pack we now are able to do just that. I bought one to try it out on my couch and then purchased a second one to use on my loveseat. It was so easy to install. The furniture store was going to sell me ones for over double the price. A salesman at a different furniture store, where I ended up buying my furniture, said to just buy them on Amazon. I have only had them a short time, so I can't speak to how long they perform, but they work like a charm currently. So glad I didn't let myself get ripped off by the first furniture store I visited..

Had to plug it in. Battery was kind of a waste of money

This recliner battery lasted 3-4 months before it needed recharging. Granted, we only use the recliner 2-3 nights per week but I felt that amount of time before a recharge was needed was excellent. I did notice after my first recharge I plugged my cell phone into the USB port and it drained the battery quickly. Maybe not so good for phone charging battery life but great for the recliner only.
