PUR Gum, Wintergreen, Xylitol Gum, No Artificial Flavor, 55 Count

I only use Pur gum. This mint is a little spicy at first but still great flavor.

Love this gum! We don’t do artificial sweeteners and this is some of the better gum we’ve come across. Love that there’s xylitol. I stocked up early for Christmas haha. The flavors are great. They last a decent amount of time, not like normal gum though

Great gum only issue is that the flavor goes away in about 10 minutes

I like that this PURR gum is a more healthier version of chewing gum, however I am disappointed with the Wintergreen flavor I chose as it did not taste like Wintergreen. I use to purchase those Wintergreen Lifesavers and there is no comparison. And last, the package states the serving size is 2 pieces and I find that portion is not even equivalent to a regular stick of chewing gum. So one is not really getting the servings per container paid for if you chew 3 or more pieces at a time! It is still a good alternative to the old school chewing gum with sugar but buyer beware of the servings per container.

TIP: Before I begin expounding , note that adding a TINY bit of a fat (coconut oil, ghee, butter, etc.) to gums like this will soften them which often prolongs the flavor. Go overboard and you may end up with it stuck to your teeth. So! I was really looking forward to another flavor in a xylitol-sweetened gum since a mouthful of ulcers years ago from Trident's grape-flavored sugarless gum (when their bubble gum flavor became scarce) forced me to completely abstain. Fortunately, reading some time afterwards that chewing xylitol-sweetened gum could have a positive impact on oral and otic (near the ear) health gave me hope. UNfortunately, as I've aged I've found I need to avoid mint flavored gums and toothpaste because of the upper gastric distress it can cause (ditto with cinnamon-flavored gum) but I took a chance on this one because I'm tolerating a wintergreen-flavored toothpaste without problem. Also, botanically-speaking, Gaultheria (wintergreen) really isn't in the mint family, although after purchasing this gum I discovered wintergreen contains the aromatic compound, methyl salicylate, which is mint-like. Sigh. This wintergreen may as well be in the Mentha (mint) family because my senses pick it up as an extremely strong & bitter mint. That's a pity because I've been using Xlear Spry's fruit flavor xylitol-sweetened gum for years and was hoping to have another choice between that and their newest flavor, green tea. On a positive note, their green tea isn't as tasty, so I'm less likely to chew as many as I do of their fruit flavor. PUR doesn't seem to harden as quickly and the flavor has lasted longer although I've avoided purchasing either of Spry's mint flavors, so I can't make a fair comparison of the two brands in that respect. So when I feel like being a guinea pig again I may try this brand's pomegranate mint flavor since the fruit appears first in the name and hopefully predominates, taste-wise. Update_2017-08-14: it took me quite some time to brave another flavor but I have the pomegranate mint and it's a winner, starting with the slightly tangy pomegranate flavor, which does fade, but the mint comes to the fore then and lingers pleasantly. What's more, I found no need to add a bit of fat to this gum to keep it from unpleasantly hardening within the first few minutes.

I've been chewing PUR Gum for a while now, and I love that it's aspartame-free and sweetened with 100% xylitol. The Wintergreen flavor is refreshing, and it stays strong for a decent amount of time without becoming too overwhelming. The fact that it’s made from natural ingredients is a huge plus, and I appreciate that it comes in a large pack of 55 pieces, making it last longer. It’s a great option if you're looking for a gum that's free from artificial sweeteners and flavors. However, the flavor doesn't last as long as traditional gum, so you may find yourself chewing multiple pieces throughout the day. Overall, it's a great choice.

Je cherchais depuis longtemps un chewing-gum sans aspartame avec un goût agréable et durable, et le PUR Gum au Wintergreen est une excellente découverte. Dès la première mâche, on ressent une fraîcheur franche et naturelle, sans ce côté artificiel que l’on retrouve souvent dans les gommes classiques. La texture est souple, agréable à mâcher, et ne devient ni trop dure ni collante avec le temps. La saveur de Wintergreen reste présente longtemps, avec une sensation mentholée douce et rafraîchissante, parfaite après un repas ou pour garder l’haleine fraîche au travail. Côté composition, rien à redire : sans aspartame, sans gluten, sans OGM et 100 % végétalien, c’est exactement le genre de produit qu’on peut consommer sans culpabilité. Le xylitol utilisé comme édulcorant naturel laisse un goût légèrement sucré mais pas écœurant, et contribue même à la santé dentaire. Le conditionnement en boîte refermable de 55 pièces est pratique, hygiénique et facile à emporter dans un sac ou une voiture. Le lot de 3 permet d’en avoir toujours un à portée de main. Sono gomme senza zucchero, allo xylitolo che aiuta nella cura e prevenzione delle carie!!! Ho comprato anche quelle di un'altra marca presente su Amazon, molto più costosa e con soli 3 gr di xilitolo in più su 100gr di prodotto. Onestamente la quantità è praticamente identica e preferisco queste in quanto a consistenza e ad aromi. Io ho fatto una scorta sfruttando l'offerta di primavera e ho anche risparmiato un sacco. Ma anche a prezzo intero sono comunque ottime. Consigliate al 100%!!! Il sapore wintergreen io non lo conoscevo prima, e onestamente non so se debba essere così, ma a me è piaciuto molto.
