Helped my wife a lot in pregnancy. Nightmare to inflate but once it’s up it’s up, didn’t deflate at all and seemed good quality.

I bought this primarily for pregnancy back in 2021 with baby 1, but have used for exercise as well. I'm writing this review in 2025 while pregnant with baby 2. The ball itself is great. Non slip, sturdy, bouncy. I haven't used other balls so can't compare to anything else. I was mostly sold on its reputation. But the inflation... Oh my god. The foot pump is poor quality and falls apart very quickly (as soon as I bought it back in 2021), I cellotaped it up and am using it again now to blow the ball up at I don't have anything else I can use to hand. Any claims that this takes "minutes" are false unless they're using a different pump, although the cellotape may be contributing factor. This has taken me a solid 45 mins so far and I still have a bit to go (following instructions to leave at 80% for a day).

Bought this for my daughter in law as a baby shower gift. It is a very good quality ball with recommendation from the NHS. Super important as you can't take the risk of the ball bursting while you are in labour. She is currently using it to do yoga and stretches to prepare for the birth. It came with a book of exercises and suggestions of ways to use it. It will be useful during labour and after awards for postnatal exercises and bouncing on to soothe the baby. Nice size, good quality, easy to inflate and pretty colour. What's not to like?

Sitting on it instantly relieved my back pain and helped improve my posture and pelvic flexibility. By my third trimester, it became my go-to seat, and during labor, bouncing eased contractions. Postpartum, it’s perfect for gentle workouts and soothing my baby. The anti-burst design feels super safe, even at 180 lbs. Highly recommend for pregnancy, labor prep, and beyond! Wish I had bought it sooner!

I purchased my item on 13th January and noticed that when I received it, it didn’t come with a foot pump as stated in the item description. I contacted the company BabyGo through Amazon straight away, which to my surprise got back to me that same day. They apologised for this mishap and offered me a full refund and offered to send me out a foot pump so that I could use my birthday ball. Due to the missing item, the company also offered me another item from their shop and send it with the foot pump. This was rectified straight away and my replacement items came in the post the very next day. Overall, I am so pleased with the customer service and how efficiently my issue was dealt with. I have now pumped up my birthing ball, which I must say was so easy! It’s very sturdy and firm but also has cushioning so that you can freely move around on it and practice some birthing yoga. I would definitely recommend buying from this company and rest assured that if you do come across any issues, it will be dealt with and rectified straight away!

Very disappointed to get my delivery today with no foot pedal pump. A hand pump which took an age to blow up the ball. False advertising.

easy to inflate, just follow the instructions. comes with a handy pregnancy book explaining different exercises to do with the birth ball according to different trimesters. also has good info regarding birth and nutrition in general.

This is a great ball, sturdy and easy to use. Pretty color. I especially appreciate the book that came with it, with helpful exercises and other info.
