Pricey but totally worth it. Been using this every day on the way to work in a very sunny climate for several months now, and changing visors or dropping down the ugly internal visor is a thing of the past. Completely forgotten that multiple visors is even a thing, totally seamless experience. Not quite as dark as the darkest tint out there, but good enough!

Pricey but solves the problem of the low sun in winter and the variable English weather if you don't have (like me) a drop down sun visor. Fits my XXS sized NXR lid perfectly.

Having used a flip helmet with extra internal drop down dark visor, I went back to the simplicity of a having a quality full face helmet. I never liked using the dark drop visor while the main visor was closed. This photocrhromatic visor is a perfect addition to a brilliant helmet.It adapts to the required tint fast enough but so far hasn't got too dark to see through. My helmet is white with a simple graphic colour scheme, and the dark visor suits it really well. All in all very happy, fast delivery and the price was better than anywhere else. Highly recommended.

I love this thing.I used to always wear a light tint visor and in comparison, this goes much much darker in direct sunlight.The advantage of the slow tint nature of this visor means that you don't really notice how dark it gets. It keeps everything looking the same :)I took 1* off because of the crazy price.Convenient? Sure.Lets hope it lasts a long time as it cost 1/2 as much as the helmet it sits on.

Thought I'd use the visor for a bit before writing a review. Was a push going for this considering the price but I must say it does the job amazingly. Couldn't imagine riding without it now. When the suns blaring the visor goes completely black, can't see face through it. And goes back to fully clear in clouds super fast. Top notch

Expensive but a great product, I will never have to change my visor again (until I scratch it 😊)

Daytime riding, even into the sun so far had been great not having to pull over at some point to put sunglasses on. Haven't ridden after dark yet, but I hope the lighten up and don't make seeing a problem. The pinlock addition to the face shield has always been a great must have addition to keep things fog-free year round.

Après six mois d utilisation , honnêtement je suis très content de mon achat. La visière est super , aucune gêne sous un grand soleil , elle s assombri vraiment en quelques secondes et la visibilité est excellente . Je ne dirai pas qu elle devient complètement noire mais suivant l angle ou on la regarde elle est plutôt rouge sombre cela dépend , quoiqu il en soit elle est très efficace . Dans les tunnels je n ai jamais été gêné. La nuit où par temps couvert / pluie , elle est claire , il y a peut être quelques reflets indésirables avec les phares des voitures mais pour m’en servir régulièrement je n ai jamais eu envie de la changer, cela n empêche pas de voir correctement la route . Vraiment très satisfait !

Es una pasada, se aclara y oscurece bastante rápido y se adapta a la luz existente.No llega a aclarar del todo y tampoco oscurece como una ahumada oscura, pero es comodísima. Siempre la llevo puesta.

Habe mir vor 2 Jahren den SHOEI NXR gegönnt.Im Lieferumfang war, wie üblich, ein pinlockfähiges Klarsichtvisier dabei.Bei schönem sonnigen Wetter stellte sich jedoch sehr schnell heraus, dass ohne ausreichenden Sonnen- bzw. Blendschutz nicht nur der Fahrspaß dahin ist, sondern es auch sehr gefährlich werden kann. Zur Not habe ich den Helm in Kombination mit dem klaren Visier und meiner Gloryfy-Sonnenbrille verwendet. Sonnenschutz war ok ABER, beim Stehen oder bei niedrigen Geschwindigkeiten ist mir die Brille sehr schnell angelaufen. Somit 0 Sicht. Das war auf Dauer keine Lösung !Da ich oft erst in der Dämmerung nach Hause komme oder auch bei Bewölkung unterwegs bin kam für mich ein rein verdunkeltes Visier nicht in Frage. Wollte auch nicht permanent mit zwei Visieren im Gepäck durch die Gegend fahren.Daher war das Photocromic-Visier die perfekte Lösung.Verwende es mittlerweile seit gut einem Monat und habe es auch bei jeder Wetterlage und bei allen Lichtverhältnissen getestet - es hält wirklich was es verspricht ! Die Übergänge von hell auf dunkel und umgekehrt dauern maximal 30 Sekunden und schonen die Augen. Meiner Meinung nach die ideale Kombination zwischen Optik und Sicherheit !Das Visier ist auch pinlock-fähig. Kann man kaufen, jedoch hatte ich bis dato noch nie das Problem, das das Visier beschlägt.Was ich aber leider absolut nicht nachvollziehen kann ist, dass es offiziell keine Straßenzulassung hat (zumindest in DE und AUT nicht). Hier sind nur das klare Visier oder das Visier mit der leichtesten Tönung (knapp 30 %), und auch nur tagsüber, zulässig. Hat minimale bis garkeine Wirkung was Sonnenschutz betrifft. Was sich da der Gesetzgeber dabei Gedacht hat ist mir ein Rätsel - viel auf alle Fälle nicht...Meine Meinung steht jedoch fest - was besseres kann man sich als Motorradfahrer nicht kaufen !Kann ich wirklich jedem Biker empfehlen ! :)
