I ordered this from Japan
In Japan, the most common baby doll is called “Meru-chan,” but I never liked the look of that doll. My daughter asked for a doll for Christmas, yet I didn’t want her to carry one that didn’t feel right to us. My daughter is half, with slightly darker skin and curly hair, and this doll looked just like her. I fell in love with it instantly. Unfortunately, dolls with this skin tone are not available at Toys “R” Us in Japan. Thanks to Amazon, we were able to get this beautiful doll, and I’m truly grateful.

Perfect!
My granddaughter has several baby dolls, but one day she made a comment about wanting a baby doll that looked more like her and with hair like hers. (She is half caucasion and half hispanic). I searched for the right skin shade and hair that best matched hers. Some were too dark with more African American type hair and others said "hispanic" but the skin was too lightly colored and with more caucasion type hair. (She has very dark hair with very tight but soft spiraled ringlets). I finally found this one and it actually looks a lot like her. She was so excited and it's now her new favorite doll.

Great doll for an excellent price!
My 10 year old granddaughter loves Baby Alive dolls. When I saw the extremely low price on this doll I ordered immediately for Christmas. Most Baby Alive dolls are over $30 and this was half that price. I admit I had my reservations. I thought it might be a smaller doll than the higher priced Baby Alives or maybe it was cheaply made or not authentic. It was the exact size and quality of their other dolls and came with several accessories. I am very pleased with this purchase and the seller and I know my grandmother is going to love her Christmas present.
