I remember this in a metal tube at my health food store in the 1970s! I just rediscovered it in Paris (made in Switzerland) and I love it! I have sensitive skin and eyes and it doesn’t cause either to react. Lightweight and effectively moisturizing. The pm version feels a little sticky to me but the daytime is great for night too. I wish they had one with sunscreen, but I just put a layer of La Roche Posay 30 over it and I’m good to go!

Introduced to this brand when we were with our German friends, Weleda has become a staple in our house from handcream to face moisturizer. While their handcream can be almost excessively thick, perfect for those dry winter months, I was looking for something lighter for my face, that would provide moisture without any additional greasiness. I read a lot of good reviews about this product and decided to try it. It was absolutely perfect. The level of moisture is exactly what you’re looking for, just as much as you need and not more. It feels great on your skin, is easy to apply, and instantly rehydrates after a good cleansing. The scent is outstanding and one of my favorite features. This is a light, daily use moisturizer that will become your go to on a regular basis. Couldn’t be happier.

I love this product but the container comes 1/2 filled. This is the second order that came this way.Container is 1/2 filled. The photos The first weighed container is empty the 2nd is brand new. It's supposed to be 1.3 oz.

I've been a fan of Weleda Skin Food ever since the first time I bought a small tube and used it to treat chapped corners of my mouth. I've smeared the stuff on my face at night before because I love and trust it, even though it's really a bit thick for that business. Well, along comes this day cream! Important question straight out of the pot: does it smell like Skin Food? By golly, yes it does! It smells good. And, being conceived as a facial moisturizer for daytime use, the stuff goes on a bit easier and feels less sticky than regular Skin Food. I wasn't a big moisturizer person before, but as I've gotten older my face has been feeling dry. This is a nice moisturizer to treat that. It does make my face look a little shiny, which I'm not sure I love, but I don't think it's the biggest deal in the world. I'm happy to have my Skin Food.
