Would this work for sealing carpet edges

Are we talking carpet tile or normal carpet either way I would have thought it would be fine except for foam back. My use was floor tile which it was perfect for vey good product.

can this be used as a sealant/covering for the back of a custom made rug? also can this be used for indoor and outdoor use of rugs?

I used this to stick down build in my bathroom IDont think it would be good for what you want for rugs I use Builders or Contractors PVA GLUE this dries clear I put an initial coat of sealant diluted 1-4 and a second coat diluted 1-2 hope this helps
