I’m around 230-240, 5’7 normally a 1x and sometimes 2x wear size 14-16 pants and a 38dd. i want it to be long enough and loose enough. what size?

I am 5’9” and it’s to the top of my feet with flats. I am a size 8-10 in pants and 36C. 165 lbs and the large fit me like it does in the picture. I really do like it.

does this dress expose your underarms or sides through armholes?

With the dress I received, the arm holes were a regular size and shape with a small cuff. I know the picture looks like it gapes, but with my dress, my underarms and sides were completely covered.

I'm 5'1 with 42 bust size and 48 inch waist. Will this fit me? If so, which size? I wear a size 20 to 24.

I don’t know. I followed their recommended sizing, and I got an xl. So you should look at the sizing but I would think you would need an xxl,but you might have to hem it since you are only 5’1 hope it works for you. It’s very comfortable.
